Food was delicious here. The sushi was incredibley fresh with a big selection of rolls to pick from . Our service was terrific & they have a large selection of sake. Nice atmosphere, this was a great place for a date night to sit down & eat, drink & enjoy dinner. Great price point too. We had 3 appetizers, 2 sushi rolls, 1 specialty roll, 1 piece shrimp sashimi, 1 clear soup, 1 combo hibachi & 5 bottles of sake for 158$ with out tip. This is probably our new favorite place for sushi 🍣& sake

I always struggle to get a nice pic of the actual food, but the experience was exactly as I wanted. The service was quick and efficient. The cooking was entertaining. My chef made jokes, flipped eggs, threw broccoli to each guest to catch with their mouths (if they want to), and made sure everyone’s food was how they wanted. Much faster than most hibachi places, we were in and out in less than an hour which is not always what you want but we didn’t mind this visit.

Kumo is in my top 5 favorite restaurants here in SWFL! You have the option to enjoy the hibachi experience or sit at a table or order off a traditional menu. I always go for the hibachi experience. Your chef will be cooking right in front of you while putting on a little show. They will flip eggs into their cap from a spatula, tossing broccoli into diners mouths, lighting the flatop on fire, and more. The meal starts with a clear soup and a salad with a ginger dressing. The soup is simple and tasty. The ginger dressing is great. My meal of choice is the hibachi chicken and shrimp with the fried rice. I recommend for people to try Kumo at least once. It's absolutely worth it. Great food. Great atmosphere.
