Great place for hibachi and Japanese food. Good prices and everything is made to order. We really like the bento boxes,hibachi chicken and steak, shrimp tempura, side salad and miso soup. They don’t do the cooking in front of you like a teppanyaki restaurant. But the food taste just like it. Not a whole lot of seating, but I did see a lot of people doing takeout especially from the academy nearby. There’s plenty of free parking and it’s easy to find from the main road.
My daughter and I usually order Sushi from this restaurant and are always pleased with the food & service. Tonight we decided to add their shrimp & steak hibachi to our order and it was AMAZING! The rice & veggies were cooked to perfection, the shrimp are large, and most importantly the steak was so tender. Kyoto has moved to the number 1 spot for us. My daughter always goes in to pick up our order and loves how friendly the lady at the front desk is to her! You most definitely should try their hibachi and/or sushi. You won’t be disappointed!!
A+ all the time. Great food great costumer service. I am vegan and they always accommodate me. They have no problem changing things so I can enjoy the awesome food. They remember their customers even their voices on the phone. Great job. Keep up the fabulous work.
What an unbelievable surprise! Hidden gem! Sushi is absolutely amazing! You can get TWO delicious rolls for LESS THAN ten bucks at lunch!! PLUS hibachi steak, chicken or shrimp (I got) for less that ten bucks too!!! You can not get better any place else!!
I stopped at this little place on my way home from work tonight. Never been in that shopping center and really my car just made me go in that direction. And I am so glad that it did. This is a lovely little place with very kind staff. The food is incredibly delicious what a wonderful surprise. If you are anywhere around Colonial Boulevard you have to come over and give this place a try. Takeout only everything is fresh excellent quality homemade and delicious. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did!
DELICIOUS! My bento box was hot, fresh, and full of flavor! I am absolutely impressed. The low prices are incredible considering the quality.
It's a quaint little shop with lovely decor and friendly staff. I will definitely be back.

This place is a hidden gem! Great service and cute sit down restaurant I also use their to go service as well. We got sushi and both had hibachi dinners I tried steak and shrimp cooked perfectly with great flavor
I looooooooove their food! I would go everyday if I could! They have great tasty food at a very reasonable price! They’re also very kind ! I recommend the volcano roll and the snow mountain roll😁

I found this gem on the internet looking for a sushi spot. My family mentioned they go here to get their Hibachi so I said ok, let's do it. I was shocked at the food quality, and the service.
I ordered, Kyoto Sushi roll, shrimp egg roll ($5.95- three comes as an appetizer), and crab Rangoon(6 as an appetizer). I believe they were short staffed this day as well but that did not stop the waitress/cashier, she was amazing.
The shrimp egg roll is big and crunchy. The cabbage filling is cooked not raw and the shrimp are noticably big in size and taste. I could not believeth this! 😲👀 I can just order the egg roll and be full and satisfied.
The Kyoto sushi roll was fresh, that's important. I would get it again.
The crab rangoon was good as well, fresh... Everything was so good I ordered seconds of the shrimp egg roll and crab Rangoon for the kids back at the house. The quantity and quality is worth the money and they prices are reasonable. For all that I ordered, I paid only $40+, that includes the second round of appetizers. I had to tip the waitress.
We went back again a week later as all of us were gawking over the shrimp egg rolls.🤩. This time we ordered for pick up. I ordered a bento box with fried rice, shrimp, shrimp egg roll and miso soup($14.95). My aunt ordered a bento box with added crab Rangoon and shrimp egg rolls. The food was packaged neatly and separated per order, impressive. The food was hot and really good. There was enough of the entree in each bento box for two people. The vegetables and rice was fresh. The miso soup did its job for me as I was a little under the weather.
It's a 5⭐ for me. The location is perfect. The outside area is clean and the inside is small but clean and smell good. The decor is nice as well. The service was amazing both times. Check them out and see for yourself.
My family of four went here for a quick sit down dinner. Yes, the food comes out in to go containers, which is perfect because you WILL be leaving with leftovers! The Udon noodle with terriyaki chicken, and the other steak, was not only delicious, but HUGE portions. We also had 3 different sushi rolls, all fresh and delicious (Dynamite Roll, Snow Mountain Roll, and Volcano Roll). Crab rangoon is always a good appetizer option, as well. There was a large drink selection, and also beer and wine. We were very pleased with everything. The lady in the front, who also served us, was very friendly. We will be back!
At first, you might walk in and question if this is really a sushi place. Let me tell you it definitely is, and it's pretty damn good. the waitress Nancy kept thing light and really helped make the atmosphere even more inviting. The food slap...10/10 would recommend
