I love going to LaMotta's to eat. It's like being at home with family. Easy relaxing atmosphere.
The food is always fresh and delicious. My favorite used to be linguini and red clam sauce (which is to die for), but then the ravioli with lobster, the meatballs lollipops, fried calamari (like you have never had anywhere else), the putanesca, the meatsauce, eggplant parm, I could go on and on.
You don't ever have to worry about getting enough to eat, there are always leftovers which are better the next day!
Then dessert, tiramisu, ice cream truffles and the best cannoli. Need I go on.
I have to give LaMotta's a 5 star rating.
Oh, and I almost forgot, the best pizza in the area. The white pizza, mama mia!
We had a terrific Dinner! Try the mozzarella and tomato stack as an appetizer. Delicious the olive oil drizzle along with the balsamic vinegar was perfect. The baked spaghetti dish was so good huge portion enough to take some home for the next day. Nonnas gnocchi was my wife's dish in a tomato cream sauce. Cannolis and coffee to round out dinner was a great choice. Service terrific! This one of our favorites on our dining list.
I was meeting a friend for dinner last night and we were trying to decide where to go. Since we both love Italian, I suggested we try LaMotta's. I have loved their pizza since moving here as well as the extensive menu. We were greeted by a friendly server and seated immediately. Chef Carmelo generously had a give away where I won a bottle of wine, which was refreshing and delicious. My friend had the canneloni and after a lot of debate (I love the francese) I decided to try the Nonna's Gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce. Both meals were incredible! We will both definitely be back. Thank you for a great meal and excellent hospitality!
Always great food. Special tonight was Ossobuco. Fantastic. The Lamb-sticks were to die for. Salad was awesome. I could drink that dressing from a wine glass... never mind like my bowl clean! Great food, great wine, great owners. WARNING... Arrive HUNGRY.
The best thin crust pizza I have ever had. Their meat ball sub was also wonderful. Service was quick and friendly.
1st time ordering from here, everything was amazing!!!! Highly recommend it! We had pizza, calzone & a antipasto salad for 1 that’s huge!
LaMottas is the perfect place to go for Italian food -- you always feel at home with the LaMotta family and their staff. Great pizza, pastas, chef entree creations, homemade rolls and soups. LaMottas is an institution in Ft. Myers. The family has operated this restaurant in same location for close to 40 years. You know why when you eat there. Service always as good as the food. Our dinner tonight of veal parmigiana and tour of Italy (3 pastas) was no exception.
Always enjoy the food and service family run and down to earth people been around forever so it’s a testament to their business go there I don’t think u will be disappointed

The food and service are excellent. I come down from up north for 3 months every winter and make it a point to go there 2 or three times every year for the past five years.
Don’t take my word for it but you definitely have to try when in Fort Myers Real Italian food Made by the owners themselves
We loved the food! The pasta e fagioli was spot on and the main courses were excellent. It reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. Also, the wait staff was very nice and pleasant. I have recommended Lamotta's to my friends and family! We will be back!

Have to add a big GRAZIE! to Carmelo and staff at LaMotta's Italian Restaurant in Fort Myers. Had the pleasure dining at your table last Friday and the experience was truly "soul & belly satisfying" .... You gave us a little bite of so many excellent dishes paired with some wonderful wines. Our fav apps were the mussels, especially the ones prepared in the white wine and the Bada Bing shrimp, which had just the right heat. Also loved the antipasto platter with the great salty olives, delicate cheese and assorted meats. And you kept the goodness coming .... I am a pasta fiend and you hit the spot with the wonderful flavors in your lobster ravioli, Arrabbiata penne and Puttanesca .....fresh, fresh, fresh! My husband also said I have to mention his fav, like most of the men at the table, it was the Osso Bucco. Everything was so good and I can't wait to come back and try your pizzas......If you haven't been to LaMotta's, then be sure to go and indulge yourself in some true Italian goodness!!
Fettuccine alfredo is on point all this food in this place is spectacular love all of it. Picked up an order that I called in our way to a small gathering for a NFL game with family today. Order was ready, fresh, & packaged well! When we got the party and presented the pizza and wings it was time to dig in! Everyone was silent for about 5 minutes enjoying the combination of flavors from the perfect sauce,cooked toppings and perfectly cooked dough. I highly recommend this ma and pop pizza shop to anyone in N. Cape. The sign above the door is missing. I'm sure hurricane related. But it's advertised in 2 other places on the sign and parking lot! Do yourself a "flavor" and stop by! Thank you for great food and service we'll definitely be back
My husband and I went to LaMotta’s Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant for the first time and had an amazing dinner. The lemon chicken was amazing and the Chicken Bacon Ranch (sub Sausage) pizza was out of this world. Super friendly staff, authentic interior, and phenomenal food. The owner Matthew is so friendly and hard-working. 5 stars!

We had a simple pepperoni pizza, with an appetizer of bruschette. Both were pure perfection in portion and preparation. Our server, Teresa was attentive and friendly. Just a fantastic first impression. My husband said he thinks this our new 'spot'.

My wife ordered a Marsala Chicken with pasta and I ordered the vodka sauce pasta with ground beef.
The food portion is very good and comes with side house salad with different dressing you can choose from.
I almost forget about the bread with butter and Parmesan cheese to start, OMG amazing !!!
Definitely a place to come back with family and friends.
Now you can even call them and order pasta and pizza for pickup.
They have wine and beer available.

We were a party of six. Our main courses came with a side salad and yummy garlic rolls. We each ordered something different, and when served, they were served hot and were absolutely delicious. We look forward to our next visit.
Tried LaMotta's for the first time and WOW. Got a simple pepperoni pizza and it's probably the best pizza I've found so far in Cape Coral and Fort Myers. It was perfect. Sauce is what makes a pizza for me and their pizza sauce is SO good! Must try.
The food is amazing. Pizza is incredible and very generous with the toppings. Also ordered a calzone that could probably feed 4 or 5 people. It was a work of art. Service was wonderful.
This is a little unknown pizza place with amazing food. Not a lot of room for dining in, so you might need to take out or have it delivered but if you are looking for the real deal this is it.

First time here and the service was excellent and the pizzas are amazing. We had medium hot wings and they were really good. Highly recommend this place for its friendliness and great food.
I had pizza here for the first time today. It was the BEST that I have had in all of Cape Coral! The crust was thin and perfectly cooked. The sauce tasted so good and did not overpower the flavor of the cheese and toppings. Plus it wasn’t greasy at all! The girl who waited on us was so sweet and kind. I had to call her after I ate to let her know how much I loved the pizza. My compliments to the chef!!!! I will definitely go back and I cannot wait to try all of the specialties they offer here!
Food is delicious authentic Italian food. We always get the anti pasta salad with great slices of mozzarella and a delicious pizza. Always a winner!
This place isn’t big but the food is amazing! Pizza is loaded with ingredients, lasagna is full of meat, and garlic knots to die for! Staff are great!
First time eating here, I had a Chicago Al’s beef sandwich & my husband had a sausage and pepper sandwich. The food was plenty and delicious but we waited over an hour for the food and these were sandwiches. So I gave a 5 star and hoping it was just a one off thing and I will definitely be back.
My friend lost her mother and I was looking for a place near where she lived to send food to her house. She suggested LaMotta's. I want to say that Matt and Theresa were exceptionally helpful and very professional in helping me arrange foods to be sent to my friends house for after her mother's funeral service. I live out of state and time caught up with me and I placed this order a day before the service and they were totally able to accommodate me and help me out. My friend said the food was fantastic and they even took the extra step to send some sympathy flowers. I highly recommend visiting LaMottas they aren't only about business they are about community, family and their customers. Their customer service is above and beyond. Thank you so much for helping me make a very difficult time a lot easier.
This place is amazing! We come here often as our place of business is near and they NEVER disappoint. Theresa delivers the food with no hesitation. The food is always fresh and DELICIOUS! Definitely recommend!
