Sasse's

Our first time eating at Sasse’s and did not disappoint. Chef Josef personally greeted us for lunch when we arrived at noon. We made a reservation for my birthday. Our meals were delicious and they came out quickly. I ordered the fish of the day over risotto. Yum!Salad dressing on the house salad was so good. The room did start to get warm as we were finishing up, probably due to the kitchens location.

March - 2022 A Special "Thank You" to Chef Josef of Sasse's Fort Myers for preparing us plates of PERFECTION once again !!! March - 2021 This year was a very special birthday for me. Years ago I had asked Chef Josef Zimmermann of Sasse's if he would make Beef Wellington for me one day. 5 years later, I finally made the call. Thank you very much sir !!!!! I have to say this was the softest, most tender juicy cut of Fillet I have ever eaten. Cooked to 100% perfection for all four of us. AMAZING A+++ It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up In the words of a great philosopher: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it."

We went for Thanksgiving because they were the only restaurant to pick up their phone and we didn't want to cook, so we walked in with no expectations. The food was absolutely amazing! The butternut squash was delicious, our 9yr old said it was her favorite soup ever. The turkey could literally be cut with a fork, and all the sides were obviously homemade with great care. Our server was very friendly and even warned us the kids could split a portion but we didn't listen. Overall a wonderful experience and holiday and we can't wait to go back and try their specialities.

Come for the amazing food stay for the intimate spectacle of your food masterfully being prepared within feet of all tables. Never had anything less then amazing from Sasse’s. prices are very reasonable and the gourmet food, romantic aesthetic and overall fine dining experience make Sasse’s the place to go for date night or for special occasions!

Had the pleasure to discover this elegant, yet homey dining experience. From the begining the staff were welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing yet romantic. We had the ravioli appetizer and at the moment it was served we knew we made the right choice. Cutting into it released an aroma of fresh ricotta cheese, delicate herbs, which balanced well with the sweet red tomato sauce. My tenderloin [cooked to order medium], served with asparagus and roasted baby potatos, and my husbands lamb shank [pictured] were DELICIOUS. If you want to slow down and take in a high quality meal in a relaxed setting give this a try. Its hidden in an industrial type vacinity, but don't let that deter you, once you step inside you're warmly welcomed and invited to share a meal that is proudly prepared and served. [Its only about 6-10 minutes from paige field so its not really out of the way.]

An absolutely amazing culinary experience that no one should ignore! Chef Josef and his amazing staff goes out of their way to make your dining experience extraordinary. The flavors of the food dance on your palate carefully paired with beautiful wines. Fort Myers, this is an experience that cannot be missed!
