Very friendly cute little restaurant. excellent service, however our meatloaf was tasty but lukewarm. gravy, very very salty. dessert was disappointing. chocolate chess pie too sweet. as we left the restaurant, walked by the kitchen and noticed no one was wearing gloves or masks while preparing food. Totally unacceptable in this pandemic. Serve hot food, get your employees to wear gloves and masks and I would return.

Casual dining experience in beautiful downtown Fort Mill. The service and the food were excellent! The food was brought to our table quickly. Everyone loved their choices. The fried chicken and waffles were cooked perfectly. The chicken was moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The pulled pork nachos were seasoned perfectly and paired with a tasty pico de Gallo. The fried green beans did not disappoint either. The shrimp and grits was a perfect blend of creole and southern. My dad is an excellent condition from Louisiana and my mom from Charleston SC. I have tasted award winning cuisine from them both (well...award winning in my eyes 😉 but certainly raved about by all who tried their cooking). So needless to say, many have tried but not come close to what I have had. This dish was spot on! Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because I didn't get to enjoy all of it (side note...manager took care of the issue immediately). Oh, almost forgot to mention the crispy spinach. If you have a sandwich, this would be a great pairing. I will certainly visit again. 🍴 Enjoy!

We really enjoyed our experience. Seafood dip and tempora fried greenbeans were Great, bacon wrapped meatloaf, shrimp tomato linguine were delicious. Taylor our server did an excellent job. I'll be back more often, Great local and fresh foods.

No restaurant is perfect. Local Dish comes very close. The restaurant is a welcoming place, the food is excellent. The meals are inventive, and often gourmet quality. This restaurant often serves a better meal than much more expensive venues.
The pandemic has brought out the best in the staff. They have delivery of a family meal during the week. Real restaurant staff deliver, not Doordash or Grubhub. These meals are different from the menu meals, and my wife and I often wonder that they are not on the menu.
Salads and soups are so much better than one might expect. The soups are a favorite of mine, I am really a soup guy and often consider having two bowls.
Really a gem.

Local Dish Burger! My husband ordered this. I could not help myself from eating half his meal. Pimento cheese on a Burger is so good. (Never said healthy... )

Food was excellent as well as the cocktails. My wife had the meatloaf with lightly fried okra, mashed potatoes, and gravy (it was amazing). I had the chicken and waffles and was not disappointed. If only there was one by my house in TN :(. I'll have to visit in laws more often. :( (lol)

Best restaurant my wife and I have visited so far.
They don't take reservations. We went on a Saturday night, and it took us about 45 minutes to be seated.
Everything was so, so delicious. And the service was fantastic.
We highly recommend the shrimp & crab dip as an appetizer, and the P.L.T sandwich or shrimp and grits as an entree.
Will definitely be visiting again.
