Three Star Bagels

Having been a patron here for about 10+ years, it’s safe to say the quality of their food has completely deteriorated. Although price increases are to be expected with the ongoing pandemic, a decline in service and food quality is not. Not sure why I keep giving this place numerous chances to redeem itself.

This place is so popular with the locals that a lot of the bagel flavours run out by lunch time on weekends: my advice is to get there in the morning for the best selection. My favourite is the egg bagel, but I've tried most of the flavours and they are all well-seasoned with a good chew to 'em. I recommend the breakfast sandwiches (if you have time to wait for them to make one for you)... Oh. And they're cash-only, though there is an ATM in-store.

To start the service isn't bad. Prices are fair but some say overpriced to a certain degree, I AGREE. I had a salmon cream cheese bagel and it was a $15 bagel. THERE WAS NO SALMON IN THE CREAM CHEESE, BARELY ANY SALMON. I don't really care about the price of the food I'm eating if it is worth it. But in this case it definitely wasn't. Honestly, they got to stop scamming people on that. There's no way a "Salmon Cream Cheese bagel" is worth $15 with barely any salmon in it. Step up your game or someone else will take your customers.

Eureka!!!!! I asked for a plain bagel, just a little cream cheese. And that's what I got! I've been in just about every bagel store in Bergen County. When I ask for a little cream cheese, it seems that for spite they put half a tub on my bagel. Thank you 3 Star. Oh and the bagels are really good. My friend owns a deli in the area and everyone raves about his bagels. He gets them from 3 Star.
