Review Savoury Eats Kitchen - Fort Lauderdale

What a wonder food truck! And it’s great that they are dedicated to one of my favorite breweries! We went to celebrate the OctoberFest at Due South and we’re blown away by the good food out out by SE! The crew was friendly and efficient, and the food was phenomenal. The special German themed food was a big hit, while their few regular menu items were just as good if not better. I want to call attention specifically to the duck fat French Fries. Whether you get them as a side or with the Chimichuri steak, you will not be disappointed! Can’t wait to see what they cook up next! 5 months later. I come to Due South for the food truck as much as the beer. Everything that has come out of Savory Eats has been amazing. The head chef slash cook has an amazing sense of taste. The flavors just work every single time. I’m always excited to see what’s cooking next

Great service, fast and efficient. The order carne correct and utensils were provided, which sometimes cant be accomplished by other restaurants in Boynton. I had the Korean BbQ Tacos which were outstanding. The meat was tender, the dish was flavorful, and had the right amount of veggies to give it freshness. The only downfall was the tortilla became soggy and fell apart. I would have preferred they drained the juice better before putting the meat in the taco or doubled up the tortilla. My girlfriend got the Chimichurri Steak Frites. They looked great, were flavorful, and the portion was huge, but the only downfall was the fries to steak and toppings ratio was pretty disproportionate. We ended up throwing away a good bit of fries because she ran out of the other ingredients well before finishing them. All in all, I enjoyed them despite those couple nitpicky things and would certainly eat there again.

Found this gem and had to try it out with the wifey. Got the Wings since they were only menu option this week for entrees. They change their entrees from week to week and serve tacos on Tuesdays. Came away very impressed will definitely be back to check out other entree options.

So delicious. I am NEVER disappointed in their selection, quantity, or quality of meals provided. Taco 🌮 Tuesday is a hit. Best deal in town!

Savoury Eats Kitchen, if you are unaware, is actually a shipping container turned into an amazing food stop. It is parked adjacent to the Due South Brewing, which has a great selection of crafted beers. Savoury Eats has an eclectic menu that is rotated weekly. You are able to sit in the Due South Brewing and order from Savory Eats either by walking up to the Container and order in person or you can access the Savory Eats menu online and order from there. They will deliver your food to your table inside Due South. We were able to try a few items, which were all excellent. We started with Chimichurri Steak Frites and Onion rings. Both enjoyed by everyone at the table. We then had a couple burgers, one with a fried egg on it, the Bacon grill cheese with Tomato soup and an order of the Canadian Poutine(fries with gravy and cheese curds). We wanted to try sample more, but we couldn't even finish the food we ordered. There were nothing but raves for everything we ordered. The prices were fair and the portons plentiful. We will be going back again to sample some of there other delicacies.

Incredible food, amazing service! They will deliver food to you if you’re hanging at any of the breweries right next to Due South. They brought the food right to us and it was super quick. The pulled pork grilled cheese is out of this world delicious - definitely worth going out of your way for! Highly recommend!

Savoury Eats is truly one of a kind. They have amazing food with different dishes each week. Everything is just packed full of flavor and cooked with love. Just recently I had their steak frites and Canadian poutine; the portion was hefty and the flavors were out of this world! I'm telling you, take some time to dine in for the best and freshest experience, and while you're at it, stop in to DueSouth for a crisp beer to go with your meal.

They have the kind of food that is a instant conversation starter amongst fellow craft beer lovers. We Love the ambiance of the clean food truck with Due South. This was my 2nd time going back in 2 weeks and I have to say they dont lie about changing the menu. Tons of empty plates, Bold flavors, and big portions, not like the other rinky dinky trucks. My new favorite place to go in BB.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in the triad area. I love it. I follow them on FB and make sure to check them out whenever they are with in 15 miles of me. There chicken n waffles with a bacon jam is amazing and they have some steak fries that turn me on. Great service. Great food. Great personalities.

Savoury Eats is one of my favorite food trucks. The portions are generous and the prices reflect the quantity as well as the quality of the food. The guys are super friendly and passionate about what they are doing. Now that they are at Due South, we can pick up or have them deliver when drinking at Due South, Copperpoint or NOBO.

First time grabbing food from this truck at Due South, was looking for a quick bit of whatever to eat before drinking and was pleasantly surprised. The Chimicurri chicken bowl was fantastic, and the actual Chimicurri is as good if not better than any I’ve had. Proportions are awesome and the other choices looked great coming out too. I hope to see you guys out again!

Savoury Eats food is amazing and service is second to none. You must try the chimichurri steak frites, so delicious! I go to the brewery just for their food! (I don’t even like beer). I can’t wait for them to permanently open at Due South, I’ll be there often!

Best food truck food my wife and i have ever had. ordered the streak freets, beer cheese skins and fired mac'n cheese. everything was cooked to prefection. don't live in the area, but would and as they are close to a really good brewery, probably will.

They say you don't know what you've got until it's gone...when Savoury Eats went on vacation for a week, I knew what I was going to be missing out on. Savoury Eats has NEVER disappointed every time I go to Due South for a beer. I'm so glad you guys are back because your substitute trucks didn't cut it! Great partnership!

Macaroni and cheese plus beer equals genius. At the macaroni and cheese fest it was another match made in heaven between Savoury Eats and Due South Brewing. Savoury eats is the brainchild of Royal Gunter, a classically trained chef from Atlanta Ga.. His goal is to provide globally inspired cuisine with a southern influence. Beginning in September 2018, the Savoury Eats food truck has set up shop permanently at Due South Brewing. When I arrived the line for the food truck was already long. They actually ran out of food early at 6 PM but they will be back today. Unfortunately for me the wait was in the blazing sun in 100 degree weather with no shade. The people who got their beer and water first were better off. Since it was the event of the Mac & Cheese Fest there was a special menu disappointing some people who were looking for items like the chimichurri fries. After waiting in the unbearable heat it was finally my turn to order. I chose the $12 macaroni and cheese flight with smoked pulled pork with Carolina vinegar BBQ, Colorado Ordinance with white truffle cream sauce and a variety of foraged mushrooms, and the Buffalo and Bleu with white cheddar cheese, bleu cheese, and boneless chicken tenders with buffalo sauce. They were thoughtful enough to even create a vegan offering so no one would be left out. After paying it was off to wait again. The whole process took around 20 minutes but it fell like 20 minutes standing next to the sun. The joys of living in South Florida in the summer. The guys in the food truck knew they were behind and had a somewhat amusing way of handling it. If they called your name and you look a little disgruntled about the wait they would say "girl we've been calling you!". No you haven't but it was kind of funny and let's face it, everyone was excited to receive their food. I paired my macaroni and cheese with the matching beer flight from Due South which required waiting in another hot line although this one in the shade. All of the macaroni cheese offerings were very flavorful. By the time I got to the end I was beyond full. I am really looking forward to trying their famous chicken and waffles, but maybe when it is cooler.
