My first time here. Small and cozy place to enjoy breakfast and lunch. I walked in and placed an ordered for Vaca Frita. She didn't hand me a receipt. In my mind how will you know who ordered what? She did take my name. I asked for a receipt she said email or text. Others are coming in and there were two ahead of me. I see them place the food on a stand behind the counter. She (different person than who took my order) asked me my name and hands me my food but again, the receipt that was attached she ripped and tossed. I get home and it's not what I ordered. It was delicious, but it wasn't what I wanted or ordered. Since I was on lunch break I couldn't return nor did I have to time for a remake of my order. Very flavorful and I would return. However, I think receipts should be given and matched so this doesn't happen again. I added the peppers (pikiliz).

Delicious. Great food served quickly for lunch. Picadillo, rice, black beans, fried sweet plantains and a stuffed potato ball were all excellent! Great price too!

Amazing food, flavor and prices. They also make very good fresh squeezed lemonade. I don’t think their sandwiches or fries are the best but I personally don’t go to a Cuban restaurant to order that so stick to the lechón asado, tostones and chicharrones de pollo and you can’t go wrong. Their rice and beans are delicious too- best in Fort Lauderdale. The owner is very nice. Do yourself a favor and come eat lunch here!

Quick service, friendly staff… and the food is delicious! Prices are reasonable. I had the lechon asado for lunch and it was delicious.

The shredded pork was good, as were the plantains and rice and beans. The Cuban sandwich was not great, was basically a ham and swiss like you could make at home. Staff was friendly and prices were good.

I usually come here when I’m in the area because it is so yum. From the food to the staff. It is little but super cute and cozy!
