Sasaya Japanese Market - Fort Lauderdale - Photo album

Adorable Japanese market with sushi take out in the back. It’s a very small spot but they have all the basics including Japanese snacks, sake, soft drinks, and refrigerated desserts. They even have natto! There’s also a small end cap with books and incense. It’s a surprisingly varied selection of J
What a great find. This has to be some of the best sushi I have had and esp. for the price. Its so fresh and they actually have Japanese preparing the sushi. The volcano is my fave, with the amazing crab meat.
Very cool, quaint, authentic Japanese market on Sunrise in Fort Lauderdale. Great prices, fine selections, gifts and excellent sushi 🍣 to go!
8/19/23 UPDATE... passing through our old Vicky Park hood and jus had to make this stop! Never disappointed! First sushi picnic in the Commander! Fun stuff!🌴✌️😎🍣🌴 Super secret best and freshest sushi in Fort Lah Dee Dah...if not Broward! Hands down!! Takeout only, but that's OK! Tons of Japanese
This is a really tiny market, but they have a great selection of items. Obviously they won't have as much as a larger store just due to size, but the items they did have were great. I saw a review saying they didn't have seaweed snacks, but they do. They also have things like pocky, mochi, mochi ice
New to the neighborhood. Lucky to have a great lil market with Sushi ready to be rolled on the spot. I haven’t even finish my rolls. I had to show some love!! The Sunrise Roll (Top) is delicious, Dancing eel roll was tasty too! (Cali Roll W/ Eel topped) If you’re looking for some noodle soup ingredi
Was hungry for some sushi and looked online for a sushi place. Found this small shop that has some great nigiri. However, the maki's (rolls) were not as good. Ordered some take-out to take back to the hotel: futomaki, akebono-roll and maguro and ebi nigiri. Plenty of soy sauce, wasabi and pickl
It’s a small Japanese market with a snail sushi place in the back of the store. It is smaller than I thought but it did surprised me what they have. They sell things like Mirin, refrigerated ramen, Japanese bowl, chopsticks and some packaged Japanese bums which are all the things I was looking for.
Small Japanese grocery with a very limited selection. But they do a great job with the sushi/sashimi items from their menu. And they're very pleasant to deal with.
Today I went there for the first time and was amazing. Their customer service is amaziiiinnnggg!! Lovely!! I tried this (what’s on the picture) and is sooo good that makes you addicted to it. I tried the ones from other places and never liked it, but finally found the perfect ones ;) I’m definitely
Everyone needs to support this place. Small grocery store that sells many different frozen and dry goods. At the back, you can also have sushi made with great quality for the price. The owners are always so nice and friendly. They have rice cookers and some decor, along with utensils and bowls. The
Best Japanese store in South Florida, small and slightly expensive for certain things but there are things you will find here that are needed for Japanese cooking that are just either not found or very hard to find elsewhere in area
Love this place...great little bits for my daughter to try, and their sushi is one of the best in Fort Lauderdale!
I like the sushi here, specifically the salmon roll and the eel roll are very tasty. Good for the price. I wish they didn't use that pink dyed ginger, and just used regular, but that's okay. Also nice Japanese snacks and drinks.
Charming Japanese market with fresh sashimi, nigiri and maki plus excellent service. The cashier is impressively polite in person and on the telephone, and the sushi chef is always swift to deliver precisely what is ordered. The market is kept clean and seems to always have new imports ready to keep
My favorite sushi spot in Florida ❤️ I will always remember Satsuki and Satori. The new owners are also very kind and the food has remained the same. They know how to make their rice. Also, they have the best sake selection. If you’re into Japanese cooking, this place is perfect for ingredients.
A small place with a lot of stock. There's also a Sushi Chef there to make the real deal sushi. Check it out! Nice people!
Grate place. Very friendly, good service. The rolls are tasty and creative. Reasonably priced. Recommend!
