Carlos & Pepe's - Fort Lauderdale - Photo album

We had a wonderful time discovering this recently reopened spot. We were just cruising around and what a hidden gem. We enjoyed the great margaritas and the delicious fajitas. Highly recommend it. Their happy hour is from 3-7. Check it out you wont be disappointed
We came back to Carlos & Pepe’s tonight for the 40th anniversary of our first date here… in 1983! We met the amazing new owners and were treated to such a wonderful dining experience! The food was delicious (Pepe’s Burro was exactly as I remembered it!) and they even made an old favorite for us that
The best renovation I’ve ever seen at a restaurant! What an improvement. NEW menu. Great drinks. Beautiful atmosphere and the best Latin music in town. I work directly upstairs from this restaurant, and I’m so happy to see it flourish! Richard is a wonderful server!
I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with a group of friends and we had such a wonderful time! We started with a round of watermelon basil margaritas (yum) which quickly turned into another round. For appetizers we tried the Tuna Dip, Guacamole Dip and the Nacho Mama Nachos. I can’t stress
So I sauntered over to Carlos & Pepe's on SE 17th Street tonight to visit the new owners, Rich & Paula,. WOW! They added a new happy hour menu and it is awesome! Great margheritas, Mexican brewksies, street corn, (Have you had it? Get it?! Thank me later), delicious tacos (3 to a plate), wings, chip
So I deleted my last 3 star review and updated to 5 stars! Just wow!!! Since we stepped foot inside the establishment, we were greeted and sat immediately. I loved the new renovations (open and bright and it just seems so much bigger) Tamara was our server and she did not disappoint. She was attenti
Had brunch with my friends and family and watch NFL football remodel was amazing by new owners. Go Dolphins.
We had a very good lunch here but it was a bit empty because we eating at 3pm. Service was excellent but we were the only table. Margaritas and food were very good, chips are ok and salsa wasn't my favorite. But the decor is excellent and it is a nice cozy place to be. I would eat here again.
Had a great evening and experience at Carlos and Pepes. We sat at the bar and before we sat down, we were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted fresh chips and salsa. The staff was so friendly and attentive. We loved the bartender, Lauren “LG”. She had a great personality and made great dri
Elijah was our server and we left impressed! His attention to detail and speed was much appreciated. He was also super kind and friendly. The manager stopped by also and made sure everything was good. The changes in the menu were... noticeable. Food was not bad but we have been coming here for years
If I could give this restaurant a higher rating on service and atmosphere I would. I’ve come by a few times and every time every employee has been the best, the food is amazing. The bartender Fabian, is AMAZING! So attentive and personable, will always sit at the bar when he is working. The new owne
We had quite a surprise tonight! We are longtime customers of Carlos & Pepe’s, stopped in tonight after being away for the summer season. The food was always amazing but service was dauntingly slow. Tonight was a completely different, the restaurant is under new management and they are really making
My wife and I have been going to Carlos & Pepe's since 1980. Tonight we met the new owners they are incredible people. Very nice professional and super pleasant. They have done a beautiful job udgrading every aspect of the restaurant. The best atmosphere that we have witnessed for a long time. The q
Update to Previous Review: Rich (the owner) reached out after my previous review. He offered to honor our gift card and gave us a credit to come back and eat again. This experience was much better! My husband was able to get the steak wrap he loved and I had the bowl, which was delicious. Previous b
Excellent food and service. Happy hour specials also good. I'd go back for sure. Staff are polite and engaging.
Great service from Tamara and the Friday night mariachis were a fun surprise. The food seems to be a step less flavorful than the old ownership, which was never especially spicy. Maybe trying to be safe for tourists? Needs at least a spicy salsa to be able to add, the so-called “hot” just wasn’t.
Tacos Al Carbon were delicious. Refried beans and rice were good nothing crazy. Service was good. Kinda slow but I get it, because they aren’t a busy restaurant so they can’t truly staff it correctly. All around a pretty good experience. 👍🏼
So this place has been around forever. Recently received two new owners. Both from cali. Which has the best Mexican food ever. It’s changed so much. Newly renovated. And most importantly a new chef who is amazing ! I love it so much now. It feels like a casita Cocina and they’re so invested in prov
