I was just in town for a day and someone at my hostel recommended this place for quick, delicious, and affordable food.
They weren't wrong! I got the sweet and spicy sandwich and it was delicious.
I also got hot wings- they were larger wings than I was expecting and the flavor was also very good. Good bang for your buck.
The bartender, Brandy (yes, named after the song) was truly a fine girl. Pleasant, friendly, quick service and helpful tips for the area.
Between the service, food, and atmosphere Bar Red Beard gets two big thumbs up in my book.
Truly an unforgettable experience. My friend Kat asked me to come here for the tater tot’s and they were amazing as an appetizer. The hamburgers are the best I’ve ever had in Fort Lauderdale. The french fries and all the accompanying side orders are unique and creative. And the desserts are fantastic. There is a menu of craft beers that goes way beyond anything I’ve ever seen and one of them almost knocked me off my socks. If you want an experience that you will never forget with a family atmosphere and friendly staff come to bar red Beard.
Great location, large selection of beer, wine & liquor are available and the food is just right. Daily specials and they know how to take care of the locals.
Great chill bar with amazing food. Very open and airy with lots of bar space. Many beer options on draft and quite a few cider options (on draft and in cans/bottles).

We walked past this bar due to no outside seating and it looked pretty plain. Locals stopped us and asked what we were looking for and sent us back here. After walking in we were pretty impressed by the inside, craft beer options, and menu. I got Grandma's meatball sub and it was excellent. The fries are insanely good while they are still hot. We sat at a high top table away from the bar and had beers delivered in under 60 seconds. I would come back.
This place is amazing. Food, beer, family ran and the son is the bartender. His name is Mike. His dad is working in the back bringing you the best tots you have ever had and the rest of the menu is stellar. Mike knows his beer. Best experience. Will be here every weekend and hope for longer hours in the future to spend even more time! Thank you for making these beer loving foodies' dreams come true with you being around the corner!
Great beer list. Awesome food. The best cheesecake cake I've ever eaten. They even have great movies playing. You have to pay for City parking but it's only a couple dollars for like 3 hours. Oh they also have outdoor seating and is dog friendly.
Updates: They now serve liquor and and carry a good selection of Whiskey/Scotch.
Tried this place due to all of the great reviews, and they are all true... Extremely clean, super friendly staff, great selection of beers & wines & liquor...and fantastic food! Had the Big Mickey burger, the meatballs & the tater tots...all were delicious. The bartender let me sample some beers before I chose one and later brought me a sample he thought I might like...awesome. I highly recommend this place.
Classic bar with the perfect menu for those enjoying their beer selection. The brews on tap seemed endless and the specials confirmed our decision to come here. The staff is on point, even of it's busy, and the bar itself was clean and made for a great space for those on their own, groups of friends, or even couples. Bathrooms were also unusually clean compared to many other bars. Not too loud and very comfortable environment.
