This is a great place for breakfast! It is very spacious, has a lot of seating, and has a great variety of food options. They had the impossible sausage, which was very exciting! Our server was really nice, and the service was pretty fast. I would come back here again and would recommend it.

Went here for a late breakfast. First time ever at the Original Pancake House. The Place was not to crowded and we were seated right away. Waiter was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. Ordered the coffee☕️. We only waited about 20 minutes for all of us to get our food. For 6 people the bill was $110.00 with a tip.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! My family and I had breakfast here on our visit and it was delicious. I ordered the Strawberry French Toast. My son ordered the Apple Pancake (takes 30 minutes to make) but it was SO worth the wait. Eggs were cooked exactly like I like them. We were totally satisfied. The service was good.

Very delicious! These are scattered around the u.s. and I've been to a couple now and they are all different but so good! This place was pretty crowded but they sat us fast. The staff were very friendly. They have tons of options for b-fast and lunch... we ordered strawberry pancakes, rainbow pancakes, pigs in a blanket, eggs with Turkey sausage, pecan pancakes, and an omelette with extra cheese... oh and the breakwhich that came can be shared depending on hungry you are! The orange juice is literally squeezed before your eyes. I would recommend!

After coming to OHOP for ten years we hit the jackpot with Tammy an incredible hard working individual with a lot of smiles and personality. She served us quickly and efficiently. What set her apart was telling us to order our hash browns with sautéed onions and peppers and it was delicious. Thanks for making our breakfast one of the best.

This was our 1st visit to FTL location. We had been to the one in Denver area. Food was great, be sure to go when you're hungry. Our server Mel made the meal very enjoyable.

I sat in the corner booth at the Original Pancake House nursing my hangover with black coffee and an unlit cigarette. The restaurant entrance opened and I looked up. She walked through the door like a tigress walks into a Burmese orphanage — strawberry blonde and legs for hours. No dame her age could afford a coat like that, and the kinda makeup she had on gave me a good idea how she got it. She had bad news written on her like a headline from October '29. "Take a load off sweetheart", I said and pointed to the empty seat across from me. She sat down and ordered the Huevos Rancheros with M&M pancakes. "Guess I was wrong about you 'toots; this food is delicious" I said. She told me to give the place 5 stars. Who was I to argue?

My mom and i live in Miami and we drive to ft Lauderdale almost every Saturday morning for bfast at this place... the food and customer service is excellent, the servers we've had are great, but we always sit with brad.. great place would definitely recommend it.

The food was great, the server was VERY polite and did his best to make it a great experience. However it was so incredibly busy that the poor guy could barely keep up. We waited like 15 minutes for our coffee and when the food finally came we asked again. The 2nd drinks for the kids came the same time as the check...i didn't blame the server though as I said great guy, great food but they should get atleast 1 or 2 people that take care if coffee when it is do busy. All in all I'd Def. Go again.

We went to The Original Pancake House on 1/2/16 and had one of our worst customer service experienced at a restaurant, ever.<br/><br/>When we entered, the hostess barely mustered a "hi", and just starred at me. This was apparently my queue to give her my name and party size. I did so, and she wrote down the info without saying another word to me. So we sat and waited. Waiting time was fairly quick on what seemed like a busy day.<br/><br/>Once seated, our waiter came. He never introduced himself, but later, based on the receipt, we learned his name was Bradley.<br/>Bradley took our order and left. Then he brought our food and left to which we never saw him again till the cheque came. We tried to get his attention, but we were ignored. He visited his other tables as normal, but never checked on us once. 20 minutes later he dropped off our cheque without saying a word and left.<br/><br/>The food was decent. I had the Belgian waffle, which was excellent! My fiancee had a steak sandwich, but our server, Bradley, did not communicate with the kitchen the proper way she wanted the meat cooked.<br/><br/>The hospitality we received from the hostess and Bradley really ruined our first experience at this restaurant. I'm not opposed to checking out another franchise, but I will never return to this particular location nor will I ever recommend it to anyone.

Not happy with waitress. Food was okay. We found the french toast and links good. Pancakes were bland. We had an issue with the wait staff. We sat down first but Gita took our order after she took the customers who sat down after us. We had to prompt her to top up our coffee. Can you blame me for being unhappy without hot coffee with my breakfast??? It's as though, this wait staff decides who gets to eat first and how much coffee one drinks?!?! Oh also, she gave us one glass of water saying we would probably need one. I didn't want to make a fuss as the place was busy. By the time our food came, the customers sitting next to our table had finished their pancakes. We have lived in Miami for more than 2 years so we tolerate bad service. This is plain weird. We will not be back.
