Or visiting Fort Lauderdale on Hollywood Florida for a wedding from my son. We decided as a family to go to Padrino's for dinner. We even had a little kids with us and even with their children behavior the waiter and the staff at the restaurant we're awesome with us. The food was very delicious I had Paella for dinner. It was it worth every penny that I paid for it which was $26. It was the best paella ever had. My kids also had awesome meals and the children had quesadillas. We definitely want to return we come back to this area I recommend it to anybody and everybody. Great atmosphere great food and great people. Also the sweet plantain or so delicious I couldn't stop eating them. Our family is a Guatemalan in American so we like food from Latin America and Cuba

Would have never thought I would get the best bulleit manhattan at a cuban restaurant during my weeklong trip to ft. lauderdale - several other places could not get the job done and the bartenders here are awesome, particularly Jennifer and Samir. That’s in addition to the amazing, authentic cuban dishes they have here. Absolutely loved their paella and I can see why it’s one of the most favorite dishes at this place.

While in Hollywood Florida we were told by many locals to go to Padrino's for the Best Cuban food. My wife and I have never had Cuban food, so we did not know what to expect. We really enjoyed all of our food! Everything was very flavorful, including the white Rice! To my surprise my favorite thing was the yellow rice, it was so much flavor in it. We really enjoyed our food, the only complaint I had is that the Mahi Mahi was dry. They also make a really good mojito. I'm not sure how good this is compared to other Cuban spots, but we really enjoyed it and would like to come back to try more of the menu. We would also recommend this to anyone looking for Cuban food or something different.

Living in the Mountain West, Cuban food is an unfamiliar cuisine. Karen helped guide me through the perfect evening with the Primo Mojito, Empanadas, Lechon Asado, and Flan. The mojito was perfectly crafted, balanced between the boozy and sweet. The empanadas, although plated awkwardly, cut and placed so the filling dumped out when each piece was picked up. However, refilling the pastry did not retract from its amazingness. And the Lechon Asado... OMG! I will come back to Padrinos every time I'm in the area just for this dish. The pork melted in my mouth, was perfectly seasoned and the rice and plantain accompanied it perfectly. The Flan was the perfect ending to the dinner, caramelized sugar gave a nuttiness to the sauce coating the melt in your mouth goodness. If you're in or around Fort Lauderdale and looking for a delightful, sit down dining experience, I highly recommend Padrinos.

This was the first time I had been to Padrino's, and the first time I had a Cuban meal. We went here before the Jackson Brown concert downtown. The service was very good and efficient. The waitress was pleasant. Our meals came out fairly quickly even though the restaurant was moderately busy. I had the Mahi-Mahi, and my friend had a chicken dish with black beans and rice. My dinner was pretty good. My friend said his was very good also. He said he has been coming here for years. Overall the food and the experience were good and the prices were fair. I would come back and try some other Cuban dishes.

For us, a random surprise since we are visiting. But clearly standard practice for Padrino’s. Courteous greetings, spacious and well designed facility with open floor plan, and plenty of tables - but definitely not crowded. I went for the Cubano because I miss them. Mi esposo chose the Churrasco Steak. We were not disappointed.
