The Chimney House - Fort Lauderdale - Photo album

We went to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. Being tourists in Fort Lauderdale we didn’t notice the restaurant closed at 9:30pm. We showed up at 8:30pm. Although we were quickly seated, we did feel a bit rushed to order. We barely had the time to read the full menu but we can understand that t
My paella was good but not great. I did like the calamari in it because it was so tender but there was a little too much of it. My sangria was good but not great. The service was friendly but we felt a little forgotten. It's a very small place where you are an elbow away from the next table but
If you’re looking for a classic brunch with a different twist, this is likely a good choice. Latin + Classic brunch in Ft. Lauderdale Omlette w/ veggies and black bean puree dip was good. The stand out were the brekkie potatoes. Wow! So so good! Spicy salsa here is good too.. great w/ eggs or the
THE unique gourmet boutique, next to Broward Center. Come for dinner, see an opera, marvel at the attentive staff, superb menu choices from North and South America, walk along the Riverfront. Charming, satisfying and sooo romantic!
This might be one of my new favorite spots. Luckily I live close to it. The empanadas were some of the best I've ever had... soft and fresh. They has an in house hot sauce which was great too. Unfortunately I ate them too fast for a photo. Both dishes were great. The Lechon Asado was pork...deliciou
What a hidden gem we didn’t even know this place was here. Everything we ordered was to our taste and delicious. Waiter was very pleasant and kind. We will definitely be back.
Solid place, always consistent. Shared tapas, had a watermelon-jalapeño margarita that was really unique. Pulpo and chicharrones were the standouts. Busy as always, but attentive service and timing isn't an issue. Cool historical spot, worth stopping in if in the area.
Frank and his staff were so accommodating and pleasant when we arrived, without a reservation. Found us a slot at the bar and then the drinks and food started coming. Custom made margaritas were so good and the food was fantastic. Everything fresh and very tasteful. I highly recommend the muscles.
We were a party of 13 so I don't think that you can hold them to the same standard as a party of 2. Everyone was very warm and accommodating. The food was cooked to perfection and the manager saw to it that we were taken care of. We would definitely come back.
Great spot for brunch and dinner. Had some delish food before a Miami City Ballet show. Lomo Saltado was excellent!
Our group of four visited the Chimney House on 7/9/23 for dinner. We ordered a few drinks from our friendly waitress who made some menu suggestions and then our group ordered. I ordered the Turkey meatloaf which was covered in a delicious sauce and served with rice and beans. Other meals included th
Great little place! Looking for something to eat before the show at the Browder center. They were super packed, but the owner went out of his way to accommodate us. Service was great and the food was amazing! The menu is a mix of Latin inspired dishes from all over.
Sadly I have to downgrade my rating of this restaurant. Previously I had categorized it as exceptional, but unfortunately today and in previous visits we’ve had some issues. My friend ordered the same thing as me. Each of us ordered the chicken with onions and rice and beans. Unfortunately hers came
Been here a few times; I don’t speak Spanish, but you don’t need to - all of the wait staff are bilingual but the food taste like come straight from Cuba! We usually get dinner before heading over to the Carmax theater for a big show; last time I had the seafood special with a nonalcoholic beer, fo
I come here almost every time I go to a show at the Broward center and it NEVER disappoints! Fast service, delicious food, and amazing sangria!! If you’re seeing a show at the Broward Center, check out the pre fixe menu!
Gabriel who was our server, took care of our large party(13) like a professional. A couple of con: we had to ask to have the appetizers plates removed. We were seated @ 5:30, but did not eat until 8:30. And the limonade was warm. Pros: our server Gabriel was amazing. Any staff member we asked a qu
We always try and have dinner here in this quaint and sweet restaurant before we go to the theater. The food is great, as well as the service. Recently, they obtained a liquor license so it is no longer just beer and wine.
The BBQ pulled pork sandwich was great. Would have been nicer if it came with fries but the side of fruit was good. The ceviche was nicely done and very fresh tasting. Will come back to this shop if I'm in the area again. The history of the house the restaurant is in shows a good story as well. I'm
