Canyon Southwest Cafe - Fort Lauderdale - Photo album

Overall, service and food were very good. I did find some items over-salted. Server made good recommendations safe for food allergies… The signature margarita was tasty. In general a worthwhile visit, excellent service & nice atmosphere. (The holiday trees were a nice touch.) We spent about $10
My husband and I went for an early dinner and happy hour drinks. We sat at the bar and it was a great experience. It was not too loud nor too cold and the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks and food. They offer many GF options which are labeled. We ordered several small plat
After many years, I have received many recommendations. I made it and absolutely loved Canyon. The food is fresh and amazing. The crispy pork tacos were heavenly. My friend had a shrimps and grits. She said those were amazing! Will be back.
Stopped by here for dinner recently and enjoyed many of the menu items such as the crispy pork tacos (manchego cheese, mashed avocado, cabbage slaw, pico de gallo, cilantro cream), the jumbo sea scallops (poblano-lime plantain hash, chipotle-honey glaze), the short rib tostada (caramelized onions, c
First time dining in their new location. Beautiful space, music might have been a bit to loud. Food was as great as we remembered. There’s a reason Canyon has been around for over 2 decades. Consistently great food, drinks and service. Looking forward to a return visit very soon.
We celebrated a birthday with a group of 16, the restaurant provided with the best party organizer ever Amanda. She booked us a private room The Wine Room, beautiful decor, lighting and space. My group had a blast. We were able to play our custom playlist via their party associate’s hone connected t
I loved the place, the environment, the food and the servers. I would love to come back and try more of their menu
We came for Evening cocktails 🍸 and stayed for appetizers. Great cocktails and southwest kinda Mexican fusion on the food. Very modern.
My first time here and I'm visiting from Michigan. When I say the food was delicious 😋. I definitely will be coming back. My two friends who moved here 3yrs ago never knew about this restaurant and they said they will be coming back for sure. I had the chicken stuffed with chicken for my entree an
Love what they did with this restaurant. We stopped by for dinner and checked out both the restaurant and the other side which is more of a “bar” called Rio Vista. We tried the Mussels which were amazing. Dinner was great as well. The staff was friendly, prompt and we have a wonderful time. A great
The food and service are outstanding here. Not your typical run of the mill Fort Lauderdale restaurant where everything tastes the same. Nice vibe and great mix of music 🎶 too! Bartenders 🍹are skilled and really know their craft as does the kitchen 🌮staff. Great selections to choose from: Had the f
Absolute phenomenal experience. Petra and Michelle were awesome. Great team, Their service dynamic was in sync, and they offered delicious recommendations. I enjoyed from beginning to end. Loved the ambiance. 10/10 recommend.
Service was amazing food was even more amazing and I love that they had a live DJ but the music wasn’t too loud so you were still able to have a conversation and not yell across the table ..I will definitely visit again ! I had the pan crusted chicken and it was chef kiss good
Small menu. Everything tastes good. I tried almost everything ☺️. Waiters and bartenders are attentive and quick. Hostesses are a bit sloppy. Valet parking is mandatory 👎🏼. You can’t self park for some reason 🤷🏼‍♀️ even though there is plenty of parking space.
Excellent service and food, but my mixed cocktail took a long time to come out and was not good, especially for the price. I ordered per the recommendation the house specialty drink - prickly pear margarita and it arrived after my food, watered down with melting salt down the side and like it had be
Famous for their spicy prickly pear margarita it's still delicious spicy or not... Food is always absolutely amazing. We've only had one hiccup... Everybody has their off days. You come here often. Canon is also on a Michelin star recommendation list.
I really enjoyed my experience here. Mon - Fri, 5 - 7 PM, there is a happy hour menu at the bar of the restaurant. Initially I started with Tuna Tartare because I love Tuna Tartare. Paired with Rio Rita pictured on the left and Prickly Pear margarita on the right which was delicious. In addition, we
