Hidden gem sandwich shop on the back side of the shopping plaza. The line was at the door when I arrived. Service is slow but they are very precise and methodical about making your sandwich the way you want it. The shop had 1or 2 female patrons but it was primarily working men enjoying a good sandwich and chips for lunch. I was so undecided about the sandwich I wanted but I ultimately chose the meatball sub and although I know I can only eat 1/4 of any sub at a time, I ordered the large. Only $13 for the large and a better deal for the money. Unfortunately the person helping me didn't ask any questions about how I wanted it, but she quickly found out I wanted mayo and pickles in addition to just meatballs and marinara. The meatballs are huge; the marinara was okay but not the best I've had on a meatball sub. Very thick and full of chucks of tomato. Taste was more commercial than homemade. The meatballs themselves were well seasoned, uniformly shaped and extremely large and tasteful. I saw the chicken salad platter being made while standing in line but was quite disappointed when my tuna platter was handed to me. The only options are iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers; boring for a salad.
Love this place. They get you in and out. Cut the meat and cheese to order, fresh vegetables. I can't believe that l forgot to take a picture of my amazing sub. I think that they called it the stallion. Delicious. I recommend anyone in the area get a sub here. They are super nice as well. You won't be disappointed!

What a great sandwich. I live in Miami whenever I am near Laspadas I have to pick up one or two sandwiches, even if I am not hungry, I take them home. The Monster is the best|

What an experience! The restaurant was quite busy with lunch rush but the line moved super fast! They seem to have the sandwich/salad process down to a science because it runs like a well oiled machine! The funny part is that, for your first time, ordering seems overwhelming but I could tell 90% of their customers were very loyal regulars. They knew what they wanted and how to ask for it.
The meat is FRESHLY SLICED TO ORDER when you tell them what it is you want. There is one person working the deli slicer that literally throws your meat down the prep line with sandwich makers catching the meat either right on the sandwich or in their (gloved) hands. The portions are crazy huge and you really can't beat the pricing with most sandwiches about $7-$8. It's amazing! I ordered the chef salad which came with a small portion of iceberg lettuce but what makes up for it is that it came with a lot of different toppings. My husband tried the Italian sub (regular or a large) which comes with a choice of white or wheat bread and a variety of condiments (mayo, mustard, oregano, etc). He ordered the 8" sub which was about $7.
I was completely stuffed by my huge salad and couldn't finish it all. My husband who can probably be a competitive eater, couldn't finish his sub either, but almost, haha.
The monster lives up to it's reputation. Your toppings are sandwiched between two layers of meat and everything is delicious. It's a large, delectable sandwich. The price is low for the generous portions. Get the monster with everything on it, give it a bit of time for the flavors to meld and enjoy. Will be having one of these every time I'm in Ft. Lauderdale.

Great Hoagies. The Turkey was cooked by the store. Nice personal and all you could drink small and large drinks $2.45. & $2.60

My son and I flew into Ft. Lauderdale airport in April and we were looking for a place to eat that would be lighter on the stomach (no fried foods), but still filling and not crazy expensive...JACKPOT! I'm sure we were clearly "touristy" when we came in, and all of the gentlemen working were extremely patient and very funny, they immediately made us feel right at home. They laughed easy and even did a little meat toss while making the sandwiches! I felt like we had just walked into place filled with family. We got our food to go because we had somewhere to be but the atmosphere was very quiet, clean, and laid back so we would have definitely eaten there if we had the time. Our food looked so good while they were making it and then we could smell it once we got in the car (yes, I said we could smell the sandwich 🤤)... needless to say, we didn't make it out the parking lot before tasting. Let me tell you this sandwich will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!! Of course I had them put Everything on my sandwich and my son's was more basic with the extras but we were BOTH thoroughly impressed. I'm not even a "sandwich person" but this place is .... I don't even know what to say - other than PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO SEE FOR YOURSELF!
I'm a little late on the review but I had to give these guys the thanks and recognition they so clearly deserved. Who knew grabbing a sandwich would be so memorable!
