Have been enjoying the variety of flavors offered at the Dariette since I was a small child. Enjoy the creamy, smooth texture of the ice cream, and love trying a different flavor every time we go! Never disappointed!!!
Amazing! Absolutely the best ice cream I've ever had. Dense, creamy and I'm quite certain the medium size weighed about 30 lbs. (a nod to how dense it is). So delish � !

I always love dariette we try different places all the time all over iowa and so far noone can beat them they are the best in the state..... my favorite is the peanut butter ice cream I make sure I get it every time it's available even if I have to make a trip just for it!

The best ice cream ever!!! Been going there since I was a young kid. Almost 30 years or so. Hands down still the best ice cream ever! The lemon, mint, black raspberry, yum! Every time I go home for a visit, it is a must-go-to!
This has got to be the best ice cream place in the Midwest. They have all sorts of really cool flavors of soft serve ice cream and they serve it in cups or cones and three scoops is about $3.95 so it’s cheap as hell. I love this place
Yummy!!!! It's a Fort Dodge icon. Everything they make is delicious! It's always fun to drive by and see the long line of cars at the drive thru, but the real treat is walking up to the window and sitting on the patio to eat it. You'll always see friendly, smiling faces. People come from near and far to enjoy the unique offerings each week. Check their Facebook page to see what the special flavors of the week are.
Well all I can say is the same thing everyone else says! Everything you get here is amazing! The prices are super reasonable, and it tastes great! Staff is always kind, and even though the lines are often long, you speed through!
It’s all convenient that they have a drive through line, too!
Try any of their unique flavors like lemon or cotton candy if you want something new that is sure to be good!!
I had friends recommending this place and I was still blown away! Very very big ice cream orders. I had a raspberry lemon swirl soft serve cone. It was the smoothest soft serve I have ever had! Great flavors!
