Great food, good service snd refreshing atmosphere. I had the pulled pork sammie with fries. Pork was spicy moist and the layers of complex flavors were cpmplimented nicely by the real cole slaw and chewy roll. The best BBQ I've had on the coast. My companions had the sea food chowder and a a fresh take on mac n chee. The chowder was cooked perfectly, a real feat as most mixed sea food chowders are overcooked. This bowl was delicious, tender, loaded and well seasoned. The mac n chee had bacon and jalapeño, fabulous combo, not too starchy, cheesy and rich without being too heavy.
The ales we sampled were perfect for luch paring, a nice light 4.7, and vety tasty. I had the jasmine green tea ale, slightly flowery, not too sweet bit with a honey finish. My daughter had lemony ginger ale, fruity but again not sweet with a tangy finish. Great brews, cant wait to taste more.
Opening day, good crowd but not hectic. Great turkey, bacon panini, fantastic slaw, mac & cheese to die for and as always the best beer around. So glad y'all are open. Be seeing you soon
Always good food and beer! They’re a great place to go eat and have a drink. All the food is on point!
The brews are delicious! I had the India Peach Ale and the Lemon Ginger Ale. Loved both of them. I will be coming back to try the rest at some point. I also tried the spinach, artichoke heart, and Havarti panini. So good
We had the pulled pork and the double burger. The pulled pork was spicy which I wasn't expecting. When we mentioned it they said it shouldn't have been that spicy and very kindly took it off our bill for us. The burger was great but the patties were very compact causing a lot of grease to drool when eating. The fries were super. We also tried the english ale and the d n ds drinkin beer. Both were very good. Service was great. Wouldn't know they had just opened a few days ago. Keep up the great work
These brews are nutzzz! If you never thought you’d like a cucumber beer, you are WRONG. The food is delicious (coleslaw with ginger? so good), the space is gorgeous, the service is so friendly. Dog and baby friendly to boot. Can’t wait to go back!
Another great place to eat and have a beer in Fort Bragg! The pulled pork sandwich, salad and IPA I had were all excellent! Despite it being their first day being opened and the near complete lack of advertising, it was remarkably busy at 3 in the afternoon.
The folks at Overtime handled our party of 16 with ease. Food was absolutely delicious, beer was flavorful, staff kind. Thank you for the good times!
Outrageously outstanding beer, great food, excellent staff
The Fish Stew and Jambalaya are both excellent and the beer!! So many choices! New Brewery, Great Beer, Excellent Food and old Friends. Can't beat that combination.

Overtime is a newer offering to our local culinary choices. Their building is one of the coolest redo's we have had in sometime. You can see some of the pictures, the outside brightens the block and the interior is well thought out and appointed. It had more of a relaxed and do it yourself feel than I was expecting, it was very friendly and casual. There is a bit of self service with water, seating and menu's. The staff was super attentive and knowledgeable, they may have been surprised we weren't there for beer. The menu is very small allowing them the chance to create a signature experience to each guest. The chicken sandwich was hearty with a more than ample supply of fries. The double burger was more than I could bite in the center and I have a big mouth. I really dug their special ranch they served with the wings. The blue cheese fries were definitely the table's favorite dish.

We met a friendly older gent near the Depot Mall & Museum while deciding on fare options for dinner. He suggested several spots around town based on our discussion, initally mentioning Overtime if we wanted a decent burger and brews. He eventually looped back around to it after sharing his opinion, positive and negative, on some of the options we were looking at and some others we hadn't. He was forthcoming in saying he worked at Overtime and asked if we had dogs with us, going on to say if we came around back he'd have some bacon for them. Decided to give it a shot. It's a fun pub style spot with decent fare and great brews. Around back meant there was an actual outdoor deck to eat at, but we ended up eating inside. It is a good place to go for a grass fed beef burger. I often get a double at places, but the Overtime Burger was plenty on its own and they even offered a GF bun for folks with sensitivities/Celiacs. Fries were a bit overcooked/stubby like they were at the end of the bag but mostly eddible. Husband and I ordered our Overtime Burgers medium rare and it came as requested, juicy burger and generous strips of bacon and blue cheese on mine. My parents dogs also got their bacon too as promised from the friendly gent I believe to be either the cook and/or owner/brewer of the eatablishment. Got some Mac n Cheese (large shells with generous cheese & bacon) w/o Jalapeños as requested for my kiddo as well. Parents got an Overtime Burger and chicken sandwich and seemed happy with it. Shared some delicious brussel sprouts with them. Even if you aren't looking for food, definitely stop in for their brews. Hubs had himself a 20/20, had blackberry undertones, while my mother got the Part-time Porter, nice dark and rich beer. Had some sips, both were great. Rose Lemonade was also good. Ended up buying a couple Snifters and got a Overkill (Chocolate Raspberry Imperial Stout) and a 20/20 to take home. Overkill was a delightfully rich and robust beer to enjoy while stargazing later that night. Might pick up some more beer on our way out of town. Thank you for a lovely evening with good food, a nice atmosphere, and excellent brews. 🥰
Don't judge the book by the cover. You could easily pass by this gem thinking its a dive bar. You would be wrong. This is a brewery with great beers for all tastes and great food and you can bring your pooch and sit on the heated patio. We did appetizers : brussel sprouts, peppers, guacamole, chicken wings and nothing disappointed. The beers can be ordered by a 5oz flight or several sizes with so many choices of brews. My favorite was the overkill chocolate rasberry stout. Don't judge. It was fantastic. We bought a 32oz crowler to take home. We will be back.
Nice casual atmosphere! Order your brew and appetisers at the bar, get your own water. We enjoyed 2 flights of 8-5 oz different brews. All were good and unique but our favorites were the blackberry, the raspberry chocolate truffle, and working laite, all were the darker ales.
Big portion of scrumptious Parmesan Brussel Sprouts and chicken wings. Our waitress (she brought the food and silverware) made sure to check on us and if we needed anything with a big smile. Next time we’ll have to try the burgers, they looked good.
Most people know Ft Bragg for the North Coast Brewery and we absolutely love it BUT we so thrilled to see Overtime Brewery open! They offer a fun variety of brews, wine and gluten free cider options, as well as food! It’s a little off the beaten path but an easy, accessible and family friendly walk from the main shopping strip. There’s a small parking lot in the front but plenty around the side streets. We really hope in the success of Overtime!
Stopped in for some beer tasting. Right down the street from Glass Beach. Small nice little pub. We didn't eat there but did try the beer and cider (very good). Cozy little place. Would visit again.
Good food and the beer was top notch. The service was excellent. I cannot recommend it enough.
Outstanding local brewery in Fort Bragg, CA Found them by chance. Glad I did. Fantastic beers. An interesting and varied menu. Affordable prices. Friendly service.
They opened last June (2018). They are basically across from the Glass Beach access area.
I went with a flight consisting of their Bitter Stout, Part Time Porter, Super Centennial IPA, and Double Time Imperial IPA.
The Bitter Stout lives up to its name in a good way. Lively and light with a touch of bitterness that fades quickly.
The Part Time Port is also light and lively. Nice blend of malt and maybe a touch of caramel. I could be wrong, but that’s how it struck me.
The Super Centennial IPA is hop forward with an effervescent bitterness that made me want more.
Bursting with a lightly sweet deliciousness that is pleasantly long lasting is Overtime’s Double Time Imperial IPA. Absent is the overwhelming alcohol-ness that turns some folks off of high ABV (alcohol by volume) microbrews.
I also sampled their Gov’t Shutbrown. It is a blackberry ale with a wonderful blackberry aroma, but thankfully not an overwhelming blackberry flavor. To me, they found great balance between aroma and flavor with this beer that other “fruit” beers lack.
From the menu, I chose “Doug’s Portuguese Lollypop”. Curious? Picture this, flank steak wrapped around a sliced section of Linguica (there’s the Portuguese!) sausage. Cooked perfectly, it makes for a delicious protein burst!
Many thanks to bartender Dave! He was personable, informative, and helpful.
Overtime Brewery is a solid addition to the craft beer brewery restaurant class. Check them out and enjoy!
Good beer and loved the brussel sprouts. Nice patrons who loved our dogs. If the puzzles in the closer to the door bathroom are any indication this is a dog friendly bar.
Small taproom and patio with a good selection of beers. Try the India Peach Ale. It's a wonderful surprise
