Taka's Grill - Fort Bragg - Photo album

Taka's is a local institution and a definite go to when you want Sushi Only in Fort Bragg. It is a favorite spot with friends and family for special occasions and birthdays. We were served by the amazing Stevie whose service is excellent and was always around to help, she made sure that the birthday
We ate in the patio area, would have been a bit more comfy with armless chairs, but we were happy to avoid Covid germs. We cannot rave enough about the salmon/avocado/mango rolls, they were hands down the best sushi we’ve ever had! (Better than any we’ve had in SF or LA). The salmon was SO fresh and
I highly recommend Takas the sushi is always fresh and delicious. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. Owners and staff are amazing, they go above and beyond to ensure you are well taken care of. I’ve tried the bento box and sushi it was a 10/10. I would say this is my favorite place to ea
1st time here & it was busy for dinner. Was seated indoors but too crowded & chose to move to the patio area which was nicer. Delicious sushi rolls very fresh tasting.
We arrived upon opening on Friday evening placed a pretty large to go order. Wait was supposed to be 20min but it took them well over am hour. The waitress definitely must have forgotten to give order to sushi chef , but they definitely rushed once they realized what had happened . Even with the w
Food was good, we ordered the rainbow roll ($12.50), the beef Yakisoba ($13), and fried octopus. It was enough for two people, we even had leftovers. Portions are great. Our Yakisoba had plenty of beef and veggies. Our sushi was packed with fish. Service was great. I think they could improve in the
Their tempura is superior when compared to any other in town. The service staff do not hover over you but do make sure all of your needs/wants are met more than satisfactorily.
This isn't your typical 5 star restaurant. My first time in Fort Bragg and what a pleasant surprise. It's not an upscale $20 per order nigiri spot with omakase offering. I'll admit it was our 3rd option looking for late night eating options in town, but my family and I wanted a sit down (dine-in)
First time here at Taka's Sushi. Outdoor seating on their back patio was so wonderful. Check out the sunset while husband and I wait. Everything is fresh and taste so good. The price was a bit much. We ordered : Tuna maki roll. tempera mixed with shrimp taka's special A hand roll .California r
Quality yellowtail, grilled salmon cream cheese hand roll , and miso black cod. Extremely fast service. What a Japanese gem in Fort Bragg.
Tonkatsu is just ok, but the sushi is excellent! Fresh and tasty, good sized portions of sashimi with Okinawan beer, Orion. Great service too. Highly recommend!
Chilly overcast day in Fort Bragg and was craving ramen. A lil dangerous to try a dish that not many people have reviewed (apparently this place has great uni, among other sushi), but this place hit the spot for me.
Taka's is a little home-in-the-wall place, but we've consistently enjoyed eating there over many years.
Go for the art and stay for the sushi. This place has some of the best wasabi I have ever had and believe me; I adore wasabi. The sushi was fresh, flavorful and presented well. Mind you the art is absolutely incredible too!
I got take out here my first night night in fort bragg and it was perfect! So delicious and fresh. The following night I went to a different place got the same order and was very disappointed in the other sushi restaurant! This place takes the cake!
