Enjoyed thanksgiving dinner here this year, I had the prime rib mr, Trisha had the turkey dinner with all the trimmings, we shared pumpkin pie to finish, it was an enjoyable meal with friendly service. Great atmosphere on the water, ask for table 905,
The Cioppino and Clam Chowder were excellent.
Am I going to the same restaurant?. I am having real trouble believing some of the low reviews here. We go to Silvers often, when we are in Fort Bragg. While they can get EXTREMELY busy on weekends, which can lead to slower service, I've never had anything less than excellent food or happy, friendly servers. They are kid friendly, though long wait times on busy days are not ideal for kids. The food is fantastic, the fish and the wild mushrooms in particular are stellar. They have a good beer menu, with lot of local choices. I absolutely cannot understand their low rating. Try the Coastal salad, with or without the Blackened fish. It is delicious, and a good bargain.
Yummy. Best Cioppino we have ever had. Excellent service. Clam chowder was very good. Crab cakes were okay. Wonderful atmosphere.
Lunch at Silvers. We recently took our Grandson on a vacation to Ft. Brag . We went to Silvers for lunch, the food was great! My husband and I had the Jumbo Prawns and Tristan had the large shrimp cocktail. We really enjoyed the view while we ate warm french bread and sipped our drinks. Lunch arrived and was wonderful, Tristan is 10 and very picky, he ate every bite and asked to come back for dinner! WE DID.
Was their on 1/1/11 (four aces) stopped in for a cold one & to check the place out, had appetizer of Calamari with our beers enjoyed the bar & Shelley our bartender was nice, enjoyed the atmosphere hung out ended up haveing dinner here also still sitting at bar Travis was our bartender server friendly boyfriend had Coppino & I had fish stuffed w/crab was very good, reasonably priced for area. Recommend will be back when in area!
Good bar, great view!. Nice place, a bit dated, but good patio!
Great place with great food and friendly staff! The halibut was tasty, fresh and cooked just right. My husband ordered a burrito and loved it. We also shared a bowl of clam chowder and it was yummy! We definitely ordered too much food but it was all well worth it! We also loved hearing and seeing the seals on the pier. Great bridge/water views as well. Hope to come back someday!
The food was really good and the service was great. The free serving of bread tasted amazing. It was very warm and fresh. We ordered an appetizer of crab wontons, which were savory (not sweet), but still very tasty and crunchy. We also both ordered the crab melt sandwiches with fries and a side of coleslaw. The sandwich was very rich, fresh and good tasting. The fries were nice and crunchy with a really good flavor. Everything was overall very great, and the views of the Noyo river are also unbeatable. We loved seeing the seals swim by well enjoying our lunch.
Noyo Harbor and the Wharf have been in a relationship for as long as I can remember. This is a grand dame of Fort Bragg and continues to hold high standards. It is a pretty building, well kept open and fun, large enough to host any event. The staff is fun, helpful and upbeat , I was pleasantly surprised that they still engaged in the practice of singing Happy Birthday. The food was tasty and well presented a tribute to its long term legacy. Great spot.
Great view of the harbor where you can see boats come in and out as you dine. Reasonably priced and seafood was good. We got there at 6:30 and could get a table, but as we left at 7:30 totally packed and people waiting.

First I’d like to that my gracious friend who accompanied me is so you don’t run her out of town for associating with the likes of me 🤭😂🤣 Ince again an event last night for my week/month long birthday celebration. Choosing the Wharf brought back many memories… strangely many from the bar 🤫. I wonder if I had a crush on one of the bartenders from years ago 🤭.. I get lots of crushes 🥰. Our me was fabulous for the food, conversation and company. My friend had the Shrimp, while I chose the Calamari steak hoping for a flashback to the one served at The Restaurant. It was very tasty and tender, well done. Apart from all of the fun above I was excited to see that they still honored birthday guests. Our singing server Nick led the rest of the amazing staff in a rousing rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ this is a memory we won’t forget.🤫
Only in Fort Bragg Visit Noyo Harbor
I've been here once before. Today was different. A Friday night, a somewhat slow night, unusual for the summertime.
Atmosphere is nice especially when ya get a window seat. Cool decor and deco. I had to run out to get reception for a brief moment and came back to warm bread and butter.
My server was Javier, super chill and got me hooked up with a split on the oysters. Either way you cannot lose. The raw were really good. The butter sauce was superb. The star of the show was that thai spicy sauce! Amazing flavour.
The steak was cooked perfectly. The mushrooms were sautéed very nice. The onions, amazing.
The kale was sparse so if you remember, ask for a balanced amount of all the veggies. The mash potato needed to be worked. Let me tell you. It is a mix of creamy and chunky. Which I like. The disappointment was it felt to dry but the au jus helped!
The drinks pair nicely and with the atmosphere it was a delight.
Make sure you have a reservation or call in because it can get busy. There is an outside deck but the winner for me was sitting on the west side window looking out to the water!
"Silvers at the Wharf" is a restaurant located in Fort Bragg, California. It's situated at The Wharf, which is a historic and scenic location on the Mendocino Coast.
The Wharf is famous for its seafood offerings and is a popular dining spot for those visiting Fort Bragg.
The restaurant provides an opportunity to enjoy fresh seafood while taking in the coastal views. It's right by the CA, and Marina and the water, giving nice sunset views while dining!
Awesome food, bar and view! Great waitstaff, reasonable wait time and just look at the food. Creme Brule not pictured but was awesome too!
I've been coming to this restaurant every time I'm in Fort Bragg for over 20 years now, I've never been disappointed.
I had the wild caught salmon and the warm baby spinach salad at my most recent visit. It was so good and flavorful!
Also the staff made my visit feel very welcoming.
We went mid week so we had a window seat. Great views, great customer service! The clam chowder is amazing! Next time I will get a bread bowl! The fish n chips were perfectly cooked and not greasy at all.! Nice selection of wine and food! Will definitely go again!
Silver’s @TheWharf is right on the water & has great views of all the boats coming in & going out. Jorge was our server & he was very good.
While passing through Fort Bragg, we tried the Wharf for dinner as nice restaurant options are limited in town. We enjoyed our rock cod dinners and had a view of inlet. Our server was very nice and helpful.

Omg! The Wharf is amazing! Excellent service from Javier. Beautiful views, delicious and flavorful food, in a quiet peaceful setting. We had steamed clams and muscles for appetizers...my fiancee had two delectable open-faced fish tacos with Mexican rice and black beans while I had house made clam chowder in a garlic cheese bread bowl. Some. Of the best food I've had in a while. Worth the time and money!
Eat dinner here every time we go camping in Fort Bragg. It is actually called Silver's Restaurant at the Wharf. Always try to get items on the specials board as they are fresh caught and in season. Other items on menu could be frozen. Best crab Louie when in season. Every thing we have had has been very good. Good wine list and bar. Very good and friendly service. Make reservations to get a table by the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the harbor entrance and bridge. We time it for sunset and it can be spectacular, see pics.
Great view! I've been here many times over the years and the service is always great. I usually get the crab cake caesar salad and my daughter loves their fish tacos. It's so convenient when we stay at Anchor Lodge.
If there was a stereo type for what a fish and stake restaurant looks like, then this checks all the box's. On the water, check, near fishing bosts, check, 2 stories, check, old and looks have never changed since opening, check.
The looks and location do not detract from the food or service. All the food was fresh and met expectations. The only marks against the food was the veggies on the pasta was bland and hard. Need some attention there. The clam chowder was good but a little heavy-handed with what tasted like rosemary.
Servers were friendly and helpful so top marks there.
Overall good place if looking for a place for seafood or to host a large party.
All the food we had was spectacular. Our waiter was awesome. Attentive without being overbearing. Even gave us free desserts for our anniversary. There was a young lady that would clear our dishes and ask if we wanted anything and each time we requested anything she went straight to our waiter, told him what we wanted and the next thing we knew there he was with what we asked for. We had been there 16 years ago for our 20th anniversary and had just as wonderful experience. Look forward to going back.
