Mallards Forest Lake

Today 6/26/22 my family and I tried this restaurant for the first time for my birthday and I must say everything we had was absolutely delicious. Service was also amazing and prompt. Our server was Erik and I must say he's the best server we've had in quite awhile at a restaurant. We will absolutely be coming back some day.

We love to eat so we decided to try their most popular dishes: -Blackened Fish Tacos -Barramundi Rodrigo and -the Surf & Turf. The quantity of the steak is small for the surf & turf but will fill you up. We had a lovely server Named Sara & she accommodated us with the menus and specials they had. (Mallards give this women a raise!!) If you’re driving to this location it’s well worth it. It’s close to the Lake if you’re looking for some fun afterwards. I hope you enjoy the experience of sea food as much as my husband and I did!

Thank you for making date night a good one. Finally managed to surprise my wife with a date night without the kids so here we are back again to Mallards. We love the food here, the service is always on point. Very friendly and attentive, just like our first visit. Our food came out hot and it was fantastic. My Jumbalaya was great! And the Lettuce Wrap.. Oh man that's is so good!! We will be back again soon! Thanks again!

Went here for the first time today, based on previous reviews and a personal recommendation. Sadly, the experience did not live up to the hype. Our server was not good, she clearly did not like her job or she was having a bad day. The presentation for all of the dishes was beautiful, the food looked better than it tasted unfortunately. The Crab Cakes were breaded and served with a mustard based remilaude, it wasn't bad but wasn't great either. The backened fish tacos were gluten free (served with corn tortillas) with a spicy salsa, crunchy cabbage slaw and hot sause. The Chicken Club was pretty good, the chicken tasted like it had been brined so there was a level of juiciness to the meat. The best part of the experience were the French Margaritas. I would come back for Happy Hour.

Had lots of fun for my cousin's birthday dinner! Drinks were amazing! So was the bartender! Waitresses were also very good checking in to ask us if we needed everything and how our meals were. Appetizers were phenomenal! Dinner was fantastic, very well prepared and exactly what is stated on the menu. Bathrooms were also very cleanly and nice.
