Punto Peruano #2

I have ordered the lunch special from this place twice in the past two weeks. You get soup, soda and an entree for ten dollars. The food here is amazing. I had the chicken foot soup the first time and the beef and vegetable soup the second time. This is my new go to place for soup. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The food came out quickly. The restaurant is very clean as well. I highly recommend this spot for a quick lunch during the day and look forward to trying their dinner entrees one evening.

A Culinary Vacation. Nestled in a quiet storefront, this restaurant is a needed change of taste. I ordered the bistec with green spaghetti (spinach pesto like sauce). The order came out quickly and was the tastiest steak I've had in some time and the pasta was great. David, my server, extolled the many seafood dishes available. He also took the time to explain the cuisine. I was given a pitcher of blue flavored water, and was guided to a purple juice drink. The coffee at the end of the meal was brewed fresh. Definitely worth a return trip.

We got the Punto Parrillada and it was the worst parrillada I have ever eaten. The meat had no flavor and it seemed like it was just tossed on the grill without anything. The corn was hard and needed to be cooked more. I also ordered the Arroz Chaufa de Marisco and it was also mediocre. The rice and seasoning they used tasted sweet and not like any chaufa I had ever tasted. I'm giving 2 stars because the service was pretty quick when I picked up the food. I hope they imrpove their sazon.

Family went here yesterday for first time.. we must tell you that Puento Peruano is the BEST Peruvian food we ever ate.. We been to many Peruvian Restaurants but here is our now # 1.. Beautiful restaurant with awesome, friendly service, Relaxing Atmosphere.. We all ate so much we could barely get up from the table!! It was sooooo delicious that I actually went back this afternoon to order more for dinner tonight!! A must go!! Enjoy

I've been living near this area for over a year and have not yet found a good restaurant, but we found it today. This Peruvian restaurant is spectacular. When you walk in you are greeted by the most beautiful decor, the service was excellent, the music beautiful and calming - we were so impressed. Then the food starts coming out and not only do they give you big portions, the food is delicious! I came with my chef who hasn't been very impressed with over a dozen restaurants that we've visited and he was blown away. We had Shrimp al ajillo to start with yucca fries - incredible. Then we ordered pork chop with rice and beans and Branzino with Yucca fries, rice and a side of beans. They were both excellent and we are going home with another meal (of leftovers). We typically leave left overs but these are too good to leave behind. BYW, the dessert was delicious.
