Cool spot! Drowsy Poet is a quaint coffee shop located in Foley, which is about 20 minutes north of Gulf Shores. loved the whole vibe of this place! got their sassy strawberry iced tea, but without any sweeteners and it had a fresh taste to it. became a fan of all their little decors. sat down for about 3 hours getting school done and i feel like i could be back again.

The quality of the coffee drinks here is quite variable. Sweet Home Coffee in Robertsdale has the best coffee in the area, with Beach Girl in Gulf Shores running a close second. Southern Shores in Foley and Gulf Shores is similar to Drowsy Poet. I've pretty much given up on the latter two, except on
I loved the Aloha iced latte with coconut milk and macadamia nut! Incredible flavor, Awesome staff and very comfy environment. The first thing I noticed was the dog water bowl outside of the coffee shop! I love pet friendly places so much 💞 we need more of that in the world

Went in here around Mardi Gras to get coffee on my way home from visiting family in Gulf Shores. It looks like a really cute place to hang out and study, but the staff weren’t very friendly. The coffee I got was overly sweet as well, but that might be on me for ordering the wrong thing!
