The Drowsy Poet - Foley - Photo album

Cool spot! Drowsy Poet is a quaint coffee shop located in Foley, which is about 20 minutes north of Gulf Shores. I stopped here for about 30 minutes before driving back to Texas in order to enjoy some quite reading and a hot coffee. The inside is spacious, with two different rooms filled with chairs
loved the whole vibe of this place! got their sassy strawberry iced tea, but without any sweeteners and it had a fresh taste to it. became a fan of all their little decors. sat down for about 3 hours getting school done and i feel like i could be back again.
This is a great coffee shop to visit. The staff was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful as we decided what we were going to get. Love the fact that they used an old gas station as the building, it was very modern. The coffee was really good and the smoothies were very tasty. Will be visiting th

I loved the Aloha iced latte with coconut milk and macadamia nut! Incredible flavor, Awesome staff and very comfy environment. The first thing I noticed was the dog water bowl outside of the coffee shop! I love pet friendly places so much 💞 we need more of that in the world
UPD: Stacy the owner reached out to me and was very kind to make sure my next experience with Drowsy Poet is positive. Stacy did say that they had new staff and it wasn't supposed to happen. As I mentioned before, the coffee here is great and I really hope that everybody who comes here has a great e
Went in here around Mardi Gras to get coffee on my way home from visiting family in Gulf Shores. It looks like a really cute place to hang out and study, but the staff weren’t very friendly. The coffee I got was overly sweet as well, but that might be on me for ordering the wrong thing!
