Will say its a great combination of taikayi and icecram! The taikayi pancake in flushing store is crispier 🧈 and tasty. Personally like it then the traditional taiyaki, fun and yummy 🐟🍦

Great soft serve (6 flavors, including matcha and yuzu (Japanese citrus)) on a nice little fish cone with a delightful red bean filling, making it a delicious Instagrammable dessert for $9. They also sell mochi donuts (8 flavors at $3.25 a pop). Staff were really friendly and allowed sampling of the soft serve and allowed me to get two flavors in a single cone. There is an ice cream cup option for those who don't want the taiyaki. I really loved having the yuzu option as it is very rare to find an acidic fruit I've cream flavor. Furthermore, it was delicious.

I came in with my friend to get some ice cream, i didn’t get the fish waffle cone (since its so big) but I had the matcha ice cream… incredible! This is probably the best matcha ice cream I’ve had in Flushing. The ice cream was creamy, not too sweet, and tasted like real matcha (unlike some other matcha ice creams). The prices have increased though so be mindful of that before you go. Will come back!

Went there with kids after they reopened. We thought they closed an hour later and showed up just after they actually closed. The girl set everything back up again and made us ice cream anyways. The ice cream itself was good but we only had Vanilla. They only had two flavours to choose from - that was the only downside. The unicorn sprinkles were a big hit with Our kids though!

Super excited about TaiyakiNYC And their pop-up in Flushing. If you’re in Queens Village head on over to taiyakinyc flushing pop up from now till 10/21. Don’t worry they have a permanent location in Little Italy Manhattan as well. TIPS🍦🦄 ♡ If you’re going to be having ice cream especially on a hot day, always bring your own towelettes... thank me later lol 👌 ♡ I highly recommend the red bean cone💜 ♡ I’m a big fan of taro anything so I had to get the float as well, Plus it’s lactose free! ♡ I couldn’t leave without the unicorn 😂💞 I use it for everything now ♡ They give you the ability to custom make what you want with all of their awesome decorations and many flavors🤤 ♡ There’s seats and tables for you to sit at ♡ Everything was delicious, we will definitely be back for more flavors

Attended this event on their grand opening. I’m happy I chose to wait for few days and experience the hype of getting their ice cream from queens pop up shop instead of going to their store in other parts of the city. It was the the two hours wait! Can’t wait to try their next flavor soon.
