Tasty Roast House

This is by far one of the better places for bbq/roasted meat in queens. Whenever I get the urge for roast meat, this is the place to go. Queens restaurants usually open somewhat late, compared to Brooklyn. This place opens earlier then the rest and is a good place to come for breakfast. Congee, combos over rice, clay pot rice, etc. There crispy pork is delicious, I usually grab a pound of it. The people that work their are extremely nice and friendly and will try to cater to whatever you need. The owner (I think) is usually always there most of the time and is very involved in the actual work, you don't see that very often nowadays, you can tell he genuinely cares for The satisfaction of his customers. The decor and environment is casual, nothing fancy or anything. But from experience sometimes the best tasting authentic foods come from the least suspecting places. Definitely worth a visit.

Dacor is nothing to write home about but the people who work there and the food are absolutely stupendous!!!!! Absolutely love this place. The wontons are homemade and if you're lucky you could see them rolling them up as her having dinner. The bra for this soup is delicious. The roasted pork out of this world maybe the best I've had period and their prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. I must try !
