Where do I begin? I brought a large party here to celebrate 3 separate birthdays. The staff overheard us saying happy birthday to my mom - suddenly, the lights go dim and the fun birthday music starts thumping. It was such a nice touch and made dinner feel extra special! Most of the people in my party had never eaten Korean food, but everyone LOVED the food. What's not to love? The meat was super fresh and delicious. The ban chan was plentiful, and honestly some of the best I've had in NYC. Both of the guys who attended our table were SUPER gracious and friendly - the service was phenomenal. I know how hectic it can be to serve larger parties, but they did so with aplomb. For the quality of the food AND the experience, the price was absolutely worth it. Of all the options in the area, I'm so happy I chose to bring my family to Ssam Tong! Regrettably, I live all the way in Harlem so I can't visit this place as much as I'd love to... but we're definitely coming back the next time we're visiting family in Queens!

The meat quality is amazing. The marinated Kalbi beef is the best here and I can’t rave more about it. We also got the pork belly and seafood pancake. The mix of charcoal with the meat reminds me of the old school taste of Korean bbq in midtown back in the days. Reminds me of when my father took me out there as a kid. The service was also top notch. I really recommend this place! The owner also gives a free banana to whoever’s birthday it is! Potassium !

Absolutely loved this KBBQ spot near Murray Hill LIRR station! It's hands down one of the best and most authentic places in the area. The convenience of its location is a big plus, and the restaurant's cleanliness adds to the overall enjoyable experience. The service here is top-notch, with a friendly and attentive staff that makes you feel welcome from the moment you step in. Throughout our multiple visits this week, they consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.

I’ve been here for the first time with my husband since he has been non stop talking about this place! And he was right. The side dishes, pork belly, marinated beef kalbi was so fresh, tender, and delicious! The owner was super attentive and nice that he would keep an eye of my side dishes and will refill it without having to ask him! Even the other workers were super friendly and made us feel so happy to have yummy dinner there. Would definitely come back with my family members next time!!!! FAVE KBBQ SPOT!! Ever since I found this place it’s been my go to restaurant.The thick pork belly is a must have. The flame they cook it on is so high so it gets perfectly seared. The marinated kalbi is also SOSOSO good, a must have. Ban Chan is yummy of course as well. On top of that the owner Jay is superrrrr nice, very accommodating and so welcoming. I’ve become a regular at this spot ever since I found it. Please give this place a try you won’t regret it!!!! ◡̈
