Top choice for shanghainese style food. The steam baos or Xaio Long Bao's are the go to for this restaurant. The fried pork buns are also delicious. All of their menu items are very delicious, ranging from the noodles, wuxi pork ribs, to the vegetarian items. I would highly recommend coming with several people so you can try multiple items off the list. Very quick polite service.

I only ordered take out here. I was visiting the neighborhood and was craving some Shanghainese food. I ordered their shredded pork and preserved vegetable rice cakes and a wonton noodle soup. They had my order ready pretty quickly, about 15 minutes after ordering.
Both the meals I ordered were very tasteful. There was a lot of residual oil left after finishing the rice cake... Guess that's expected of restaurants, right? Still tasted really good! I'm looking forward to dining in next time!
The restaurant had nice seating and there's street metered parking.

My friends suggested we go here. They have been here before and said they expanded the restaurant. We ordered the pork crab soup dumplings and two orders of the pork soup dumplings, fried pork dumplings, pork chop and sesame pancakes. I thought the food here overall was good. Been comparing soup dumplings from different restaurants. Not bad. Would go back to try other dishes.

Spacious, comfortable and great service. The food here is amazing and delicious. My favorite dishes are the soup buns and the rice cakes, but I have tried most of the menu here and everything is on point!

I really like this place. Tables are farther apart as comparable to other Shanghainese restaurants in Flushing, so it is very comfortable. Even foods are better than others.
Soup dumplings - so much soup inside.
Pan fried wonton - so crispy
Pan fried pork buns - very juicy
Gluten "kau fu" - right sweetness
Five spices beef - ok
Chicken rice cake - good
Double cooked pork over rice - very savory
Fried pork chop soup noodle - the soup base is goid, but the meat too much cumin, not suit my taste.
Salty pork & cabbage - tasty
Chicken salad - not my cup of tea, toi much persley
Meat ball "lion head" - good
Beef pan fried noodle - Cantonese style, crunchy.
Fried rice with Chinese sausage & noodle fish - very good & special.

My favorite Shanghainese restaurant--the food and the service is always great. They cater to the traditional and the Americanized palete. They have one of the best soup dumplings in Flushing! xo, Farrah at NST Pictures

This is one place if you're craving for the soup dumplings. They're pretty good at making this stuff. Some of the stuff on their menu is a mix of both Shanghainese and Hong Kong style food, but still happy with the food ordered everytime. In addition, this place is very affordable if you're craving for some simple food that tastes great and won't break your budget.

Consistently great food. We absolutely love their spinach with garlic dish. They also have very good scallion pancakes and beef pan fried noodles. The staff is very friendly and they get the food to your table super quick. Also conveniently they have parking in the back of the restaurant. The first hour is free and it's free all day Sunday to park.

A bit off the main hub of Main Street Flushing but totally a great hidden gem steps from the NY Presbyterian Hospital. The ample sized dining room offers casual tea house seating and banquettes for more mod seating. The menu is all Shanghai cuisine and has price points starting at $5 - the more family style entrees at average pricing of $25. Good for groups and excellent for sharing. Weekday lunch specials offered. I can recommend: Enoki mushrooms and veggie dish (the brown sauce on it is mouth watering), the Shanghai Soup buns (mildly flavored with a good amount of broth), and the braised pork. Lots of more dishes that are great looking at what other tables near me, ordered. But I was here with two kids and one other adult, we just couldn't order that much food. I would totally return with more people so that I could try more dishes!

If you like sweet and crunchy get the tangerine beef. It says spicy but I beg to differ...still delicious with a side of white rice to soak up the sauce. Get an order of the best scallion pancakes around too!
