Papito's Mexican Restaurant

2nd time coming to this location. I decided to give it a 2nd try simply because I figured it may have been lack of knowledge of what I was ordering the first time….. this time was much worse. Our server was a bit flighty to say the least. I asked of any drink specials, to which she said there were none. She didn’t write our order down and although it wasn’t hard, my daughter received the chicken burrito, and she ordered steak. The meal was corrected but even though I got what I ordered, it was terrible. The nachos were soggy when they came out and had no flavor. After paying $38 for 2 people (no alcohol) I only notice on our way out there was a drink special for margaritas in which I did comment to another employee on the inadequacy of our server. I was/am in the service industry for a long time and I really felt that the service we received was very short of any sort of helpfulness and knowledge. We were wondering if possibly she may have been under the influence, but I pray that is not the case, especially since she said she is only 20. I won’t be coming back to this establishment.

Things started off wrong at the door. I requested a booth due to dining with little ones. I was told it wasn’t any available. We were about to be seated when we were then informed it will be a 15 minute wait. I was assuming they were going to have us waiting for a booth to be available; we were still seated at a table. We waited about 10 to 15 minutes before the waiter came to the table to get our drink order. We ordered cheese dip which normally comes right out but I had to request it once our food came out. The cheese dip was so spicy that I left the entire serving at the table. Once we got our food, noticed the quesadilla had beans on it. I informed the waiter that it should of been a quesadilla with chicken and cheese with a side order of rice. He proceeded to tell me something was ordered that I couldn’t even pronounce so I know it wasn’t what was ordered. It was like he didn’t want to correct what was wrong. We told them do not worry about making the correction, just take it off the ticket. This experience was by far the worse experience I had at a Mexican restaurant. The picture is the full cheese dip left behind which we were still charged $10.99 for it.
