Que rico! The chorizo taco was amazing and the shrimp in the shrimp taco was cooked perfectly. The carne asada has a flavor that you just can't get at other restaurants. The Cacao drink is sweet and delicious. This is a must stop.

Cool little spot for the Nicaraguan inspired food joint. Saw the picture of the whole fried fish and I had to try it my self, didn't realize it came with rice and fries. $35 is little pricy for a whole fish, but enjoyed it whole anyways. Great place, friendly staff and the waiter was nice with kids.

Definitely authentic. Everything was tasty. Large portions to go along with the higher prices, but there was plenty for leftovers. They also have horchata too!

Jose's is an amazing restaurant for Latin cuisine. The establishment is Nicaraguan, however they do have Mexican inspired tacos. If your palate, is underdeveloped, I would say stick with something simple and not spicy. If you enjoy fully immersing in culture, you can't go wrong with the Nicaraguan favorites, listed on the menu. I can't wait to come back and taste everything on the menu!

Food was good, but expect Nicaraguan food, not “Americanized” Mexican. Beef tacos are shredded beef, not ground beef and the shells are all soft tortillas. I ordered the Mahi-Mahi and it was delicious. Would have been five-stars but the menu doesn’t have prices and there was a misc charge (to use a card?) on the bill. Not pricey though.

I ordered a vegetarian taco and it's tasty. However the quantity of food might be not enough for a man, and it seems the price would be higher than what I expected.

Really great. We were the only tourists there, everyone else seemed like locals. Very authentic. I had the breakfast burrito and fried plantains. Yummy. My husband had tacos. Delicious. The only thing that could be improved is the overall decor. Some new paint and repairs could go a long way.

Great food. Highly recommend the yellow tail red snapper. Pan fried and delicious. Fell right off the bone. Definitely will go the next time I visit Key West. My cousin who lives there recommended this place and it did not disappoint.
