This happened in the mid to late 80's. My family were going on a summer vacation and we stopped at the Thunderbird to grab something to eat. The food was wonderful and it was that old southern cooking. We hit that buffet hard. While we were eating the table next to us had a little girl who was tearing up her food, but all of a sudden she started yelling it's Mister. We looked up and it was the movie star Danny Glover. He was so nice he came by everybody's table and said hello and shook hands. He didn't have a large group of people with him, he was solo... That is my story of dining at the Thunderbird Country Buffet...
Absolutely amazing food and great staff! Wish they were open a little later so we could've visited on our way home, as well.

Loved the way the service was so nice and attentive to our needs and the food was great! The salad bar was fresh and price was very fair! Its a must go check out! And one of the best things about it from the outside you would believe that such great cooking was happening on the inside! Awesome

Best buffet deal I ever had, 1 but n tea for $6.99 ,friendly customer service. Yes I'd definitely go again.
The food is still good but not as good as it was the first couple of times I ate there. Fatback wasn't on the buffet.
