Review Market Tavern - Flanders

Well this is my first time here and it won't be my last! Great beer list, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good music playing. Aged beef? Who knew. Huge wine list...I can't wait to go back! We had a cheese steak, and a Too Gouda to be true burger. They were delicious! Also had fried zucchini which was good. I really want to go back and try the wings and the steak. I'll let you know because I'll be there soon! Oysters were yummy (I was told they are $1 each on Mondays). The menu seems to have something for everyone.

Dinner with a few of my close friends, fantastic! Great service, awesome food, fun atmosphere. Thursday night football was in full swing, so it was a bit loud. Overall it was terrific! Appetizer, entrees, dessert, and cocktails.. all were delicious! Lots of seating, the Tavern can accommodate any size party. Plenty of parking too. Stop by for a drink and/or food, you'll be glad you did!

A bar and grill dressed in a southern BBQ atmosphere. The turkey burger was great, very juicy and the Kansas City strip with mashed potatoes was delicious! The lychee martini wasn't the best unfortunately.

It was good. Our waiter was great. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. You walk in and see the case for their dry aged steaks. We got the Market Burger and the Too Gouda to be true burger. They were fine they would benefit from the cook using a little bit of salt and pepper. We asked for both burgers to be medium rare but one came out well done. The fries were perfectly cooked like probably the most perfectly cooked fries I've ever had but again someone should buy the cook a salt and pepper shaker. We tried to get oysters but they were out which isn't totally surprising with the state of things lately so we got the steamers which were supposed to be in a white wine sauce but it tasted like chicken broth. I will definitely eat here again it wouldn't take much for this to be a great place. Ok so gave the Market Tavern another shot and definitely improved from my last time there which is nice to see. Staff was excellent again. Burger was cooked perfectly. The butternut squash soup was delicious but very thick which was a little odd kinda felt like it needed some pita chips and just call it a dip very good though.

Great food, Chicago steak was really good, but they have a full menu to choose from. I love going to this place, I've been there 5 or 6 times and have nothing bad to say about it.

Definitely recommend! For a rainy Saturday at 6 pm there was no wait which was nice. Heard great things about this place so was anticipating a wait time to be seated. Hostess was very nice and our waitress(I think Joey) was awesome. We had our drinks promptly and answered questions we had. My wife got the slider burgers special which she loved and I got the dry aged Kansas City steak. That steak was amazing, top 5 I ever had and the veggies were literally perfect. Kids got the chicken fingers of course and those were, if they could say the word, gourmet. Most places skip on quality of kids food but not this place. Oh and the spinach dip was really good. Prices I feel were very fair for the quality we received. Can't wait to go back and try something else.

The signage that was outside the building still says Corner Pub. They have a banner that has been posted for months which is why it has taken me so long to try this place. Is it Market Tavern or Corner Pub? If I am starting with a new brand, new concept, new owners, I would quickly take away anything that had to do with the poor Corner Pub brand that was there prior, especially with the reputation that it carried. That aside, the new market tavern logo is actually really cool and should be all over the place. I ordered the market Burger with fries and diet soda from the bar. The Burger was excellent, beef was really super fresh served on a nice toasted bun, with of course a pickle. I sat at the bar for a quick meal in-and-out and that's what was delivered with a smile and solid service. The inside has a lot of the old décor from the Corner Pub that still remains But obviously, the food is much different than before. I believe the Market Tavern is an extension of the market place. This means the food will be prepped at the Market Place, so you can count on the food being great tasting and fresh. I buy hot lunch meals all of the time the Market Place and never have been disappointed. If they can replicate that same formula as the Market Place, it will be a huge success. I will be back for the fish and chips next. Best of Luck to the new owners.

Stopped in for a lunch with a friend. Was very empty at 12:30 on a Monday, but service was very pleasant and the food/beer tasty. A burger kind of place with a nice looking bar and lots of TV's on the walls. I'm looking forward to going back and trying it again.

Tomahawk steak and ribs were very good. Atmosphere is good but noisey. Will definitely be going back.

Saturday nights are busy. Firstime having a steak here, porterhouse was on the mark. A little fatty but very flavorful, cooked perfect. Priced up there with we'll known steak houses which for a bar is a little deceiving but well worth it. Not too mention a large variety of beer to choose from. Great crowd and a good place to watch your game of choice.

I had an amazing time! On St. patricks Day. The food was great. I had a burger with cornbeef on top it was very good. They have 29 beers on tap, 15 large flat screen TVs, and some of the best pub food around. Good times to have here.

Shauntee rocks! She's a great kid, sweet and attentive, which is all I can ask of a bartender. Pricey but worth the visit

Visited this place for the first time and loved everything about it. Friendly staff (Thank you, Nadine) and absolutely delicious food. The salmon, risotto, and asparagus were cooked perfectly!! Kudos to the kitchen staff. The live entertainment by Brian Clayton was excellent. Fun atmosphere. Great beer selection as well. Will definitely return.

Menu is very limited. I had a simple burger and is was just ok. The noise level is very loud. The predecessor pubs were our "go to place for light meals and pub food. We will likely wait a while to give the Market Tavern another try.

Delicious food. Staff probably needs some more work as our server kept saying there's so much going on when she would forget things. A little loud too once the restaurant is 1/2 full. We love Brie but I wouldn't think to have it in then kids mac & cheese.
