Quivey's Grove

Have been here multiple times (6 times) so far and wow! The food is amazing, and I am not just saying that. Seriously, it is phenomenal. The Thursday pork sampler special is by far the best thing I've had in a restaurant in Madison in years! The quality of food is just a cut anove every other place in this area. Friendly, fast service. Outstanding venue with that midwest charm. Three places to eat! The Barn, the Stone House, or outside! I love that they have an option on where you can be seated. I would reccomend you try the schnitzel and the Thursday special. I am not a fish eater but my husband says the Friday fish fry is amazing too. Definitely give this place a try!

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere. Beautiful post and beam construction throughout. We were tempted by everything on the menu, and the meatloaf was excellent. We walked in by chance but it was a happy accident. We would especially like to thank Kathy Lewis for her glowing recommendation of an establishment that takes vaccination seriously. She pushed us over the edge in giving this place a try and we'll certainly be back!

Ate in the house, cozy atmosphere, and wonderful staff. Our waiter was exceptional. Some places will try to get you in and out quickly to serve the next group but we never felt pressured or rushed. The steak medallions were so tender and expertly cooked. The cheese potato was also delicious and I highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. Will definitely go back, but beware the reservations fill up fast for good reason!

Such a great spot! The location is great! The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained! Three different locations for dinner, the main house, the stable, and the outdoor paddock! Each one offering a different menu. I went with my fiance for fish fry Friday when she came into town, we ate outside under the tent on the paddock. It was so good! Definitely recommend the pretzel crusted perch, with the parmesan potatoes, and a Spotted Cow with cheese curds. While the cheese curds were not the best I've had in Madison, they were certainly good. I will be going back to check out the other dining options for sure! This place comes highly recommended by myself, and many many locals who recommended it to me! Enjoy!!!
