Review Avocados Restaurant - Fishkill

Lovely place, loved the decor, we got salsa & chips for snacking. The chicken tortilla soup was delicious, as was the chicken cutlet I ordered. The chicken with red sauce my spouse ordered, was also very good. He enjoyed his Mexican beer, me my mojito. Glad we stopped in!

The food was good. Entrees came in good sized portions. Unfortunately, the freshly made guacamole was way too small. Living out of state, I am use to 3 avocados being used to make the fresh guac. Service was great. I would eat there again!

Good Mexican food in a clean, comfortable setting with courteous, quick service. We had the table side guacamole, two margaritas, and for entrees carnitas and chille relleno, they all tasted great. Only drawback was that the place wasn’t busy at all, and we usually like high traffic restaurants for freshness reasons, the food though was fine.

I Was a regular customer came in at least once a week. Now this will change due to extremely rude waiter like extremely rude waiter. He refused to honor my coupon when I had bought two meals. He gave dirty looks and he seemed annoyed with anything I asked for. The guy was a complete ass hole. We also ordered guacamole and I swear the guy picked the most unripe avacado i have ever eaten. I don’t plan on ever going back to this dump. Please save your money and go somewhere else even Taco Bell is better then this dump.

This place is awesome! The staff is great and the food is so fresh. I haven't had food this good since I worked in a kitchen in NYC and the staff would make us our meals that weren't available to anyone else. When you go, get a torta you will not be disappointed!

My lady, two friends, and I visited this franchise on Cinco de Mayo. Place was fairly empty. The employers neglected to provide service until my friend asked for someone to seat us. After sitting at our table, the bus boy came over with chips and didn't offer us drinks until I asked for waters. Then, the waiter (Francisco) comes to our table, reluctantly, and takes our order for margaritas.. the margaritas were in plastic cups without salt/sugar, and when asked for the salt, Francisco rolles his eyes and said he'd return. Never happened. My lady had to get up to go get it herself, from the bar, after waiting 10 minutes. We also had to pull a different employee to grab a box for our food, to go. Very poor customer service. Unlikely I will be dining at this location again, same as my friends who accompanied this terrible experience. However, food was delicious, BUT..if you decide to dine here expect to serve yourself.

Order steak fajitias and when it came to my table it set the fire alarm off. Tastes burnt and the portions were small. For 18.95 there should have been more servings. Customer service was poor. Will not recommend my family or friends to eat here.

Some things were good. Some were just okay. Miles more flavorful than cafe Maya. Maya guacamole is better though. There is room for improvement here, but I'll never step foot in Maya again. This place I'll check back with.
