Stephano's Ristorante

I am new to the Hudson valley area and spent some time deciding where to order Italian food as I couldn’t get pasta off my mind lol. I quickly found Stephano‘s on yelp and decided to give them a try. My dad is from Italy as is the majority of my family so naturally I am very particular when it comes to Italian food. I have zero complaints. literally none. Nothing under 5 stars about the food, flavor, quality and packaging for a takeout order. I ordered the penne à la vodka, the orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe, arancini, and a side of meatballs. Our food came with salads and really hearty rolls/garlic knots. It was still piping hot upon arrival so I know it was super freshly made. I wish I took pictures of the food outside of their containers but I made sure to take a picture of how nicely put together the take-out order was! I am already thinking about what I want to order the next time Because everything on their menu looked amazing! Can’t wait to order again

The food here is absolutely amazing. I ordered about 5 appetizers and they were all delicious. Then salads came before the main course. Lastly I got my entree and by then I was so full I could barely eat anymore. The portions are large and every dish is delicious. The staff is friendly and the service is great. Overall I have no complains at all.

Loved the lights in the outdoor seating area.. set the perfect mood.portions served here are huge and totally worth the money! They start you off with the best bread and cheese spread with roasted red peppers and olives..the calamari was tender and served in a sweet Thai chili sauce. The chicken Marsala was delish, served with lots of mushrooms. I chose penne as my side. My hubby ordered the prime rib with Gorgonzola and blue cheese with mash. He liked it

We had dinner reservations for 6pm last night. The atmosphere is casual, clean, and friendly. Simple wooden tables and chairs, with a good size bar in the dining room. They had seating outside under a tent as well. The waiter we had was friendly and didn't rush us. I really appreciate this on a Friday night. My friend and I enjoyed a three hour dinner. Each table gets dinner rolls and the balsamic dressing for the house salad was really good! I had the gnocchi which was tender and tasty. I asked for Bolognese on it which was accommodated without question and we shared the broccoli rabe side. All the food was amazing! The portion sizes are large, the side was big enough to share. The wine pours are huge! We had a great experience here last night and look forward to going to Stephano's again!

The first time we went to this restaurant we had a wonderful experience. We decided to revisit when we were in the area. We were totally disappointed with the service and meal. People came in after us and received their meal. We ordered a salad with Gorgonzola cheese and were served balsamic and the waitress returned it with blue cheese sprinkled on it. The crab and ravioli special was terrible . The sauce tasted like canned and the ravioli filling was mush. The service was slow and unattentive from the hostess to wait staff. Another server had to be asked to bring our beverages. Very disappointed and will not return.
