Amazing bbq!! There are many different options for meat. We tried the Judger's sampler, and it tasted great! There are refills for your drinks, many dips with a fantastic homemade BBQ sauce, and mild.
The staff who attended us (also Spanish knowing is a plus) was lovely, and we appreciate her recommendation for food.
With a very good price-quality level, there is a place to be back!!
Just had my first meal at City Barbecue and it was amazing! Turkey cowbell was delicious and the baked beans were the best I ever had! Customer service top notch! BobbiJo had great recommendations and was so kind and friendly! I’ll def be back again!!!!
The food was absolutely delicious and definitely a fun visit! The people who helped us with our order were very pleasant and got us served quickly. Place was a bit crowded on a weekday though. Guess that's what happens when you make good food!
Pretty good BBQ, a little pricey but what is not these days. I wish the quantity was bigger on the meat.
I got the brisket very tender but lacks bold flavor which was disappointing. The sauce or BBQ was good.
I also got the ribs, which were also very tender but were flavorful.
The potato salad is really good
The corn casserole was okay.
Hush puppies were okay.
The peach cobbler was pretty good.
All in all it delivered what I was expecting and was pretty good.
I really enjoy City BBQ. Yes, it's a chain, but it feels like more of a local place than most chains do. I always go for their pulled pork sandwich usually with a side of baked beans or green beans (or both if I'm really hungry!). I like that they had a condiment bar with all of their BBQ sauces that you can try. They also have party packs that are nice to utilize.
It's been a couple years since I've eaten here. Tonight, I ordered a little bit of everything: sampler meal, baked beans, green beans, chocolate cake, banana pudding, and peach cobbler. For about 10 years I've considered The Old Capital Grill in Golden Colorado to have the very best chocolate cake. That changed tonight. This is the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Everything was so good, and I'm so impressed, and a little sad I have to share. Lol

The location is excellent as well as the food. It's definitely the best BBQ in Indy and they have great company ethics as well. They have a variety of sauces and they are out in the open so you can sample them all. They have an app and a reward program that is wonderful.
Pre-ordered a 6 pound brisket & sides at 4:30 PM for a 6:30 PM pick up. I showed up and was worried that my order was not going to be complete as the place was very very busy on a Friday afternoon. However, my order was ready for pick up at 6:30 and the staff were very kind about helping me get it to my car.
The food was fantastic. The brisket was great for several different meals, and I would be happy to come here again.
This is a great place for really good BBQ. The only thing, get ready to open your wallet, really wide... Everything has a separate price, and it's pricey. If you want a meat plate, you order your plate, which has its own price. Then if you want a side, each side has their own price. And, if you want a drink, it has a separate price. This restaurant does not offer any meal combinations. So, I ordered a two meat plate, which is $17. I selected a side of beans, and a side of coleslaw, which are $3 for each side. After all that, and a regular size drink, my total was over $27. That is expensive for one person. I travel to a lot of cities across the country, and this is the only place that charges separate prices for each item, and not offer combo meals. But, with all that said, the ribs and brisket are good.
Food was very good. Ribs and baked beans top notch. Peach cobbler good. But didn't get my coleslaw I ordered so there went some bucks. Otherwise curb order was ok but pricey at $33.
Great food as always. I did ask if they had a veterans discount and the lady at the cash register said of course they did but when I looked at the receipt when we left there was no discount! But I really enjoy their food!

Such a great place to have BBQ! Very flavorful sides! Great tasting brisket, turkey, ribs, & pulled pork! Excellent staff which was very helpful & polite. Highly recommend trying this hot spot. Definitely will be back!
Very good food..staff friendly too. Clean dining room. If you're a fan of BBQ you gotta go to city bbq!

BBQ City has the best Pulled Pork & Brisket around by far, plus they have the perfect assortment of side items to complement/pair perfectly, and their ordering system plus customer service is top-notch.
