I’ve tried various Tri-Tip Sandwiches around Ventura County and by far this is my favorite sandwich. The meat itself is delicious, the bread roll is simple, but flavorful, and the homemade BBQ sauce is the best! The spicy is actually really spicy, so what I do is ask for “half and half” which is half mild, and half spicy BBQ sauce. The homemade chips are also really great! This is a must get for me every time I’m in Fillmore.
Delicious! Hubby had the tri tip toasted sandwich and I went with the pork ribs. Their in house bbq sauce was perfect, employee who helped us gave a sample and was very nice too. They make their own chips too. Not at all greasy. Would be back if they weren't so far from where I live.
Oh boy oh boy the Tri Tip sandwich is delicious. I travel 1.45 hrs to eat here. Ribs, either beef or pork, chicken, grilled or fried, sausage and homemade chips...come on down...They have it figured out! Come try it yourself. Wait, I forgot to mention the BBQ sauces and the beans, and the garlic bread...fast, kind staff food is quite palatable.
