Duck's Nest Ii

I went the first time and it was amazing. We went again about 2 weeks or so after and the service was horrible. I was extremely disappointed. When one of the ladies at our table was unable to eat her food because it was so salty. They were so disrespectful towards her but she was never ugly towards them. I would have understood better if she wasn't a VERY frequent customer. Disappointed.

Second time visiting and it was nit nice. The waitress that took our order voiced sounded like she had a problem with taking out order. One I f the ladies order blacken popcorn shrimp she got them they were to salty to eat. She mentioned it to the waitress and she told her the problem spoke with a manager and she wasn’t friendly at at all approached the table what you want. She explained what happen and she told her she had a special order they only blacken large shrimp not small but when she ordered she never was told we only blacken large shrimps. Very unprofessional I said to the ladies at the table this is my second time here and one of the ladies said and your last and the lady said ok. I’m like really I was very disappointed I thought I had found a new place to hang out and between us at the table we spent $200 or more. Not a good night

My family and I live nearby and frequent Ducks’ Nest often. The owners are very successful in the food/restaurant business as they have several restaurants in the area. Prices are as expected and quality of service and food are top notch. Service during the COVID-19 situation may cause some delay but owners are most accommodating. In the decade plus that we have been going there, we have had nothing we didn’t like (only if they are super busy and have run out of their signature hush puppies and greens!). The owners have an extreme following of dedicated local and repeat visitor diners and that’s what we look for in a classy restaurant locally and in travel.
