Excellent food, and the ladies who own the joint along with their staff are always super friendly, nice, and fun. This place is a little treasure in Ferndale!

We finally got dinner at the New Mexico Tamale Company. It is delicious! I recommend (and they do too) that if you want specifics for dinner, call around noon so they can make sure they have them from their second cooking batch in the afternoon. We got red chicken, green pork, chorizo, and spinach/roasted garlic/cream cheese. Yummmm!
I am one happy Albuquerque girl! I had the traditional red and traditional green tamales and bought a container of green chile chicken posole, and all three were great! Thank you for giving me a taste of home! �

Two thumbs up from our family and friends- I cannot say enough about the women that run this company, the amazing food they and their staff are making and their customer service is A+++. We had enjoyed many to-go tamale dinners from NMTC. I decided to order all of the food for my husbands 40th birthday. These ladies were angels and put together the most DELICIOUS veggie/chicken/pork tamales, chicken enchiladas, rice+beans etc. It was totally stress free and all of our guests wanted to know where it came from. The icing on the cake was when Dora called with a follow up a week or so later to see how it went. Please don't go anywhere!

Holy stunning service! I chose the perfect place to go when incredibly hungry because between ordering and sitting down, the food was in front of me within a minute. It was all piping hot, large portions, and at such a great price. The menu had plenty of options that looked super tasty, as well as frozen tamales to take home. Amazing.
The food was super delicious and filling, as beans, rice, chicken and corn will do. I would absolutely without hesitation come here again, and I will because I want to try more of their tamales. Super super good food.
Authentic New Mexican tamales! Made me feel at home and the owner was so nice! My favorite was the vegetarian queso tamale with green chile on top. Very happy to see so many vegetarian and vegan options. Will be back soon to try the enchiladas!
Found another great place. This spot has some of the best tamales I have ever tasted. Had lunch and then ordered a dozen to take home and freeze. Happy welcoming people, comfort food, and fast service.
The Counter person we met is like the perfect Mom. She will see that you are fed right. Plenty of space, open and uncluttered, some engaging art pieces on the walls.
I so appreciate the numerous vegan options! We are limited with where we can eat and your spot is now in the rotation. My little boy has a diary allergy as well, so the vegan options ensure he is safe. (Entire family is vegan though- we all love the options!) Love your food and we will see you again soon!
So many delicious tamale options, and they rotate frequently. Vegan tamale and side dishes are very good. The owner has been there every time I've been in, she clearly cares deeply about locally sourced amazing food.
We tried this place while checking out the Bellingham area today because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed! My wife and I split a 2 tamale plate (1 chicken 1 pork) with rice, beans and salad. Everything was excellent! We also tried the Southwest bites and OMG!, It was hard to stop shoving them in our mouths😋 We also chatted with the owner and she is so welcoming, friendly and a little spicy too😜 This place is the real deal peeps! I almost forgot to add that this is one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever seen.
Easy to order ahead and pick up. All flavors of tamales are delicious, I'm especially fond of the spinach and cheese foe something different. The packs of tamales with sides are perfect for get togethers. The vegan refried beans are the best beans I've ever had. Service is always excellent.
fantastic first experience. tried 4 different kinds of tamales, got 2 "wet", and some rice and refried beans. every single thing from our order was really delicious. definitely going to become a regular part of my dining rotation!
