Cedar's Restaurant And Lounge

Cedars Restaurant is a diamond in the rough. It's an historic location with the ambience to match. The food looks excellent (we had the wings), the staff are very attentive, and the overall experience is exactly what we had anticipated and hoped for. NEXT VISIT will be to the attached lounge (Outlaws Saloon) to enjoy this section of the space. From what we have read it sounds as though this may become a regular visit for us, at least on Thursdays for their WING nights! Can't wait!

Food is really good. Most staff awesome. But the time it takes to get food is kinda ridiculous. Another breakfast place I like to go to only has 1 cook and a tiny kitchen and he bangs out orders left and right. This place has what looks like a pretty good sized kitchen but there so slow. This last time I went was the worst we have had. The waitress was newer and she seamed completely uninterested in being there, it took 30 min for her to come by and get our order. 1 hour or more to get food, then when we were finished eating it took over 30 min to get the check which was only brought over bc the front of house manager seen us just sitting there and told the waitress to get our check. This is not a normal experience but hopefully they can correct it. Great place to eat if you got some time, definitely worth a try.

Aged interior is hidden the best gem! Great friendly service and portions are large, so beware- ordered the Cedar’s appetizer and wow that thing can feed 4 people. Had the clam chowder based on the server’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. Also had the fish and chips and it was delicious! Will be back to try the breakfast menu.

Favorite of my friend & I. Have had everything from omelettes to the AMAZING grilled chicken burger to the scrumptious artichoke chicken dinner that, like the other wonder dinner selections comes w/your choice of soup or salad, (loaded) baked potato& veggies! 2 large chicken breasts & a VERY large amount of food (I always get @ LEAST 2 meals out of 1 dinner 🍽 😋) Staff is friendly & service is fantastic.

We stopped by Cedar's while visiting my brother and were pleasantly surprised. The strawberry waffle was excellent and the Big Cedar inlet was not big, it was huge! The eggs were fluffy and the hollandaise sauce was smooth and creamy. Everyone's meals were great. Our service was friendly and fast. Everyone worked as a team to make for an enjoyable experience.

Usually a pretty good spot for breakfast and burgers, sadly my last few times eating here my steak hasn't been cooked properly, and the pan oil they use seems expired which ruins eggs/hashbrowns. I'm more concerned about bad oil than the cook on my meat. Hopefully the old oil issue is remedied as I would love to eat here again. Why not use butter though?

My daughter and I drove from Bellingham to try the place. We arrived at 7pm. Closing time was 8:30. The waitress seemed nice enough. Are food though took an hour to get. So we were wondering since they closed in 20 minutes, if they'd let us eat because the food took so long. NOPE!! They told us we had to cash out at 8:20 n leave. Because they had to do the floors. It came across very rude. My daughter only was able to finish her salad. Not Evan touch the pasta she ordered. I'm probably never going back. It made me feel terrible.

Once is enough at Cedars. Rude staff. Food so expensive. Food is just ok,not great. Food is way overpriced and skimpy too! Ordered ice cream for our child and it was about a teaspoonfull size portion. So small two bites and done. We asked for more or at least a full scoop and snotty waitress said no, that's the size take it or leave it. Do you want me to remove it from your table? Wow! So entitled and arrogant. Sorry we are not elites. Just ordinary folks here who like good food at fair prices and respect. Can't not recommend this place at all. So sorry to all who go there. Place was almost empty too. Vibe is low to depressing. If you have a few drinks it might seem better. Drink up👍
