The staff at the bar was helpful cuz you're right there. The servers in the open tables take too long there and are lacksidasical. I , a brewer, got cut off after 2 beers. Laughable really. I would not recommend this place. Made me feel unwelcome.

This is a great addition to the brewery scene. It has such a comfy, cozy and an excellent atmosphere. I felt so comfortable sitting and bs'ing with my buddy for a couple hours. The place looks like a mash up of sleek, modern design and a throwback at the same time. A beautiful outside patio. Bo

Food was good, service, was great.. beer was good. Had the Mother Handsome IPA. We will be back.. We have been back.. Beer is great, service wonderful and the Frites, delish. Back again. Long Cut Ipa, kale salad, mac and cheese, and pork empanada. Very good

Great food, fantastic beer, and the open and spacious communal beer hall make Axel Brewing Co.'s Livernois Tap one of my favorite places for a quick bite and drink in the metro area.

One of the best lamb burgers I've ever had. But overall portions are a little on the smaller side.
