I’m from Texas and truly find good BBQ difficult to find in Michigan. I started with fried pickles...SO good. Then I had brisket, parsnips, and sweet potato. All were amazing. My complaints would be the lack of available parking and the 40-minute wait (but not surprising for a Friday night) with pretty much standing room only. The staff was slow to seat and I found myself irritated from empty tables while I stood waiting for 40 minutes. Not one time did anyone come around to offer me a drink or give me an update. That said, my waitress was great. Overall, this place was fantastic, definitely my new favorite weekend destination, and I will come again and again because the food was just that good!
We had drinks on the rooftop at sunset, which by itself is amazing. Our wait was longer for a table downstairs because the pagers weren't working right and we never knew our table was called. The managers came up to find us after a while and got us seated, and they got everything out to us fast, as well as comped dessert for the extended wait. The food was amazing (get the brisket, seriously, along with the Union Mac & Cheese), and the Fire Hall Red Ale was smooth. Dessert was beignets with chocolate sauce...heavenly is a good adjective.
Felicia was a fabulous waitress, took care of us well. Always nice when your waitstaff cares about service. Definitely returning again.
The Food was great, and the desert was amazing! Our server (Sean) was super nice, personable, and took care of us from menus to our bill. Thanks for a great place to have dinner!
As a vegetarian, I’ve found that most restaurants just have a token veggie burger, but the “Gatherer burger” at the fire hall is amazing...they actually put an effort into making it unique and amazing!!
It was our first time at the Fire Hall. It was great. We were supposed to wait 30 minutes to be seated, but it was more like 10-15minutes. Not bad at all. Our server was awesome. He recommended tasty drinks to try out and the food was great. We have 3 kids, so I was worried about that, but it was a noisier restaurant which in our case was a great thing, because my kids didn't seem so loud. We will definitely be going back.
My husband and I went for our first visit on Friday late afternoon.....no wait at all to get a table....atmosphere and wait staff were great.....food even better, I had fish tacos, my husband had a burger and a beer....will definitely be back....Thanks
Outstanding beer selection, the brisket was perfect (I'm a TX native) and it had a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely go back and recommend it to others.
Awesome ambiance. Amazingly quick service. Additionally was the best veggie burger I’ve had ever and was easily modified to vegan. Overall very positive experience!
Family get together and enjoyed very much. Our server was great, super helpful and she always had a big smile. Service was a little slow but we were a big party and we weren’t in a hurry anyhow.
Enjoyed the fire house theme and memorabilia through out. The food was good but a 50/50 of our group of 12 that felt their meal was good to average but no one said it was bad. Lacking that grate flavor I had hoped for. We will return again and look forward good flavors.
Loved everything about this place, the atmosphere, service, and food. Next time, we hope to be able to sit outside. The interior space does not disappoint with the authentic old fire house vibe and while we were there during the day, I imagine looks even better at night. Such a great use of the space. We had the fried pick app, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the Meatloaf Sandwich - all delicious! Looking forward to going back!
First time at the Fenton Fire Hall Restaurant, and the food was great and the service was great too. The beer is pretty yummy too lol and the restroom was clean and nice. Can't wait to go back! And right by a little river that was pretty cool to.
Good service, nice location, comfortable atmosphere in multi-level downtown eatery. Yup, it really was the fire station in days gone by.
Try the Brussels sprouts salad. Also, I treated myself to a passion fruit margarita.🍹very tasty!
Such an amazing experience for my daughters 16th birthday. We planned for the family to meet at 6:30 at Saganos for dinner down the street their hostess unfortunately didn’t do what she said she was going to and gave some of our seating to another group so I called The Fire Hall and they said that they would be very happy to seat and serve us. My group of 16 and 1 child walked down the street to Fire Hall and was seated and enjoyed some amazing food and atmosphere! Everyone was so happy and we had a great time. Thank you Fire Hall staff and our great waiter for making my daughters birthday a success! We will all be back for great food and service!!
