Cafe Noir

I frequent this cafe often. It is one of the few non-chain coffee shops that have adequate and comfy seating. The interior is cozy, perfect for taking a study break or working. Baristas are all kind and menu has a pretty wide selection. I usually get a Summer Latte, which are lattes with a scoop of ice cream in them. The prices are a tiny bit more than other places, but if you use the cafe space to hang or work, it’s definitely worth it.

We always love the bingsoo shaved ice desserts! It is larger portion than other bingsoo places that you need more people to eat, it is that delicious and filling They got a variety of flavors and cute mochi balls that are bite size friendly with that good chew We tried all flavors over time and our favorites are injeolmi, ube, oreo, and matcha They actually integrate the flavor into the shaved ice instead of being in layers Pic of the ube flavor where the shaved ice itself is purple from the ube

my first time here, we got the fruit shaved ice. comes with sliced strawberries, sliced mangos, strawberry ice cream on top, a few gummies, and of course the shaved ice with a strawberry and mango drizzle on it. we came 40 minutes or so before they were going to close and I didn't feel rushed to eat. the strawberries were so delicious and definitely tasted fresh. the shaved ice was yummy. also got their strawberry smoothie which also tasted like it was made with fresh fruit! and my boyfriend got a lemonade which was very tart but still good. the ambience is noisy. if this is your first time coming here, or this area, just be aware this is a very sketchy part of town. make sure to put your car windows up and lock your doors (of course.) I wouldn't feel safe coming here by myself at night. while we were going back to our car we saw a woman trying to get into their back door and then their window which was thankfully locked, at about 11 pm.

Absolutely lovely place in an otherwise not so great part of town. Me and a group of friends have been coming here every friday night to play Magic in the back room for about 6 months and they've never been anything but kind and courteous to us. Great service, great drinks, and excellent service. We're returning to our local game story now that it's reopening, but they allowed us to use their space for no additional charge for the entire time with a snile. Shaved Ice is great; But make sure you have someone or more to share it with. Smoothies are great, so is the hot chocolate. Sandwiches are better than most cafe fair, but realistically not the main attraction. The front area is well laid out and has nice couches and seating, while the back offers larger parties relative quiet and they'll bring you your orders. Baristas are friendly and work very hard. Tip generously, the workers here deserve it!
