Don't Judge a Book by its cover or in this case a restraunt by its outside. As a wild contrast to its drab exterior Joe's interior is a beautiful restraunt with pleasant music to match & the food is even better. They have a great balance of flavors using quality ingredients, delicious home made sauces along with a great assortment of wines. They have a higher end of average prices but worth every penny. The owner is a great guy & very friendly. I'd highly recommend coming here, because if i'm in arkansas again i definetely will be.

It's important to say that my previous visits there would've gotten five stars but something changed. The bread, as usual, was amazing. Our server was nice and helpful. However, getting our food was slow... very slow. It took more than an hour to get our meal and there were only about five tables filled at the time. We ordered calamari as an appetizer. It took more than 30 minutes to get it. When it arrived, it was over-cooked. It tasted alright but not as good as before. Plus, the breading seemed to fall apart when we would pick it up. For $9, we expected more and better quality (like previous visits). I was polite and told the waiter about it but nothing happened to resolve it. The entree, seemed that the food just wasn't quite as good as before. Considering the price you pay for food ($14 in this case), I expect to be wowed with quality and serving size. Finally, the menus need to be replaced. All four of us had menus that were so worn that we couldn't read the backs or the prices. I do hope this was a bad night for them because previous visits were five stars.

Great, quiet, romantic atmosphere. Nice having dinner at a place without the distraction of a TV; just some quiet background music to set the mood.
We went for dinner on a Saturday evening when it wasn't very busy. Our server was very attentive to our needs. I ordered chicken parmigiana and thought everything tasted great. Had limoncello cake for dessert that was most and creamy with a subtle lemony sweetness: a perfect, refreshing end to a great meal.

Joe’s Italian Is an all around wonderful place to eat. From the moment I walked in hungry to the moment I left completely satisfied. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted and seated by Brittney. This waitress was exceptional. She always made sure my drink was filled, she was full of great recommendations and personal favorites, and her attitude was very engaging and outgoing. There were other tables she was waiting on but I truly felt as if I was the only customer in the restaurant. It’s employees like her that make the entire experience worth it. I will be coming back once a week not just because the food was outstanding, but because I felt like I was wanted back by Brittney. I hope all of Joe’s workers are as professional as she is! 5 stars for the restaurant and a massive raise for Brittney!

I took my wife here for Valentines day and have very few complaints. The food was amazing and the service was great. Our waitress was Sabrina and I'd recommend her to anyone. My biggest complaint was the pricing. Both the online menu and the menu available at the front to browse through while waiting on seating showed one price. However, upon being sat, there was a special Valentine menu that had, as far as I could tell, the same items but at a much higher price. The veal parmigiana that I chose is normally about $14 but on Valentines was nearly $22. My wife's selection of shrimp and chicken saw similar spikes. The food was great and I plan to return. However, I will not do so on any holiday again.

Definitely worth stopping at, even if you’re just passing through! It was my first time eating here, and was recommended by a friend who lived in the area. The food was amazing, it was a nice quiet environment, and had good music. I had the veal Marsala, and was very impressed with it. Even got to meet the owner/chef, not sure which, but he was a great guy and came to personally check on how the food was and ask about where we were from. It was great to still have the small town feel in a place as big as Fayetteville.

The bread was delicious. Atmosphere was better than expected for a restaurant inside a strip mall. The dishes are supposedly made from scratch, so it is a bit longer wait than normal for Italian. Portions were enormous and could have easily been shared. The food was pretty good, but not amazing.

The spaghetti with Italian sausage was delicious. The sauce was just right, you could taste both the spice and the tomatoes. The garlic bread is the best I have ever tasted. The service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and neat. Overall, a great experience. Highest possible recommendation.
