This hidden gem has some of the best gourmet food I have ever eaten! The cuisine is delicious and very eye appealing and not your typical Mexican restaurant. Try the chicken enchiladas with habanero cream sauce! Not too spicy and full of flavor!
This place is amazing and makes great/authentic food. I recommend the Torta al pastor. The tacos are delicious as well. The person that gave this place one star was smoking crack and probably eats too much taco bell. I've been twice now and both times the food was exceptional and the people are very nice and fun to actually visit with. I recommend this at anytime for a quick lunch or take the family.
Impressively upscale Mexican food in an suprisingly unassuming location. Service was great, food was both remarkably delicious and beautifully presented. Drinks were expensive, but of impressive quality, and included a few unique offerings. Park next to the building, not under the old gas-station awning; that's part of the "road" now, according to the painted arrows. Seriously, it's lovely inside, with loads of delicious things to eat and drink; absolutely worth your time.
This is definitely one of the best Mexican places in Fayetteville, but it comes at a price. The general vibe of the place is great and everything is super modern and clean. The live music was also very relaxing like the rest of the atmosphere. Staff were very friendly.
I got the Steven Special with steak strips and a guacamole appetizer. Both were incredible. The guacamole was pretty much perfect, I can't think of anything I'd want to change. As for the Steven Special, whatever cheese sauce they use in it really makes the meal. Everything was just fantastic.
Update: Finally came back and got the cheese dip, and it was absolutely incredible. Definitely one of the best cheese dips in NWA. Highly recommend. I also got the nacho dinner for my entree and it was pretty solid.
Nice little place there in Johnson, I had the stuffed avocados with chicken and cheese sauce on top, it vame with a small portion of salad greens that were tasty. The avocados were delicious, the chicken was tender and flavorful, the crust on the avocados was nice and crisp. Also came with rice and beans and they were very good as well. Service was great. They bring out glasses of ice water in really cool cups along with cold bottles of water for refills. Will definitely go back again!
As a suggestion from a former employee, I decided to surprise my girlfriend with a meal from here as she wanted Mexican. She usually enjoys meals from La Huerta, but I was informed that this place was close to her former employee's mom's cooking and encourage me to visit. I ordered a steak chimichanga for my girlfriend and she devoured it with no hesitation, so I can say with confidence that she love food from here better than La Huerta.
Food and drinks were excellent! We had the Cochinita and Pastel Azteca. Both were very good. We cannot wait to go back to try more dishes. Highly recommend sitting on the patio when the weather is nice.
This restaurant has great atmosphere and attention to detail. All the seating, dishes and glasses were cute. Our pitcher of beer came with ice cold frosted glasses, and the food was awesome. We had the habanero enchiladas.
AMAZING food! This was my first time here after being told that this is one of best Mexican restaurants around.
This is not your traditional Tex mex. Some of the menu items will be familiar, but there is so much more.
I had the Cochinita Pibil. I’ve never had this dish anywhere before so I’m not sure what it’s supposed to taste like. What I can say is that it was DELICIOUS! The flavors were so complex and nuanced. The charred beans were not bland refried beans you get in your typical Tex mex restaurant.
Got take out from here right before closing and was worried it wouldn't be as good doing take out.
Well we were super impressed! Everything was so fresh and flavorful.
The salsa had a great medium hot flavor. Burrito was generous and good cuts of meat. The vegetarian Luna plate had a great variety.
Guacamole is the good chunky kind.
Look forward to going back for dine in.
