Went here for lunch on a Friday. Wait time to order was not bad and prices were good for the food options. We got our food in a timely manner. Quality of food was not bad, flavors could be better of the meats. Overall though, the meat and side selections were good and restaurant atmosphere was appropriate for style of food.

Quick bite to eat on the way home. Been wanting try, mad I didn't try sooner. Employees were very polite and helpful. Hard to find that in young help. Food was priced right. Ordered the sausage dog and mac n cheese. Dog was larger than your normal sausage dog, was served on a grilled bun. Flavor was very mild and tasty. Mac was as everyone said it was awesome very creamy and just the right amount of cheese. Also ordered a brisket sandwich and fries. Sandwich and two thick slices of brisket, very good flavor. Wish they would have trimmed the fat off it. But the dog was happy when we got home. Fries were made to order, so naturally served hot and fresh. Would be helpful if they would label the sauces on the table. Bathroom was very clean. Sanitation score 99.

It was our first time there and although we try to support local businesses, I don't see another trip in the near future. We both got a combo with pulled pork and chicken quarters but both were very dry. The pork so much that I had to douse it BBQ sauce as it was partly " crunchy." The sides of mac and cheese and baked beans were just OK as well. Smoked mac and cheese would be nice ( I do that and my beans in my smoker) and the beans tasted like Bush's. It w the d right at dinner time so not an off time or late getting remnants. We really miss Fatbacks as he had the best Q. Sorry guys just being honest. We go for BBQ all the place when out of town so have had some really good stuff to compare to.

This is a classic barbecue restaurant that has excellent food and service. They don’t serve eastern North Carolina type barbecue, but everyone would enjoy their food even if they’re not fond of the vinegar-based pork so common here. All their meat is smoked. I’ve had the barbecue and pork chops and they were excellent. The sides have always been high-quality and the staff is always present and give fast service. Although this is a family restaurant it is never noisy and is spotlessly clean and very pleasant to sit and relax. Don’t miss it.

This family owned BBQ restaurant was quite good. I had the brisket which was moist and delicious and the dry rubbed ribs. The sides were fried pickles, fried okra and collard greens. All very good. It's large inside so you can eat in, but I'm still doing take out during covid. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity.
