Is went through the drive-through and ordered the chicken sandwich combo. Then when I got to the drink I asked for a coke they said all they had was tea or lemonade very disappointing. I get my meal and I open it up and this is what I see instead of a chicken sandwich I have a chicken breast on the bone on top of bread.. I don't know if this place was ever good but they've got really bad if they ever were..

The food was good, but they don't know the difference between white meat and dark meat chicken. Paid for white meat an got the dark. Too far for me to go back. Double check your orders! I'll be taking my own advise!

Stopped by on our way home from White Lake. The staff was very friendly. I had the chicken, and it was some of the crispiest, well seasoned chicken I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were really good as well. I would definitely recommend.

First time going to Cape Fear BBQ & Chicken. The collard greens taste like they came from a can. The sweet yams were nasty.

First time I've had to review a place with less than 3 stars. Including picture of untouched plate and receipt. Food tastes great but after a 20 minute wait in drive thru, I pay 13 bucks for two pieces of chicken and get four pieces with sides and drink at bbq hut for 10.80 I never thought there would be this kind of difference between two local competitors.

I ordered Chicken(white meat)& bbq plate with slaw & yams. I got a breast, leg, collards, & yams. Go back to the restaurant to the drive thru. The girl looks at me turns her head walks away. She comes back to the window & act like she's taking an order. Nobody in line but me. I told her my order was wrong & what I ordered. This time I get White meat chicken, collards, yams. I told her I didn't want collards I wanted slaw. So I look under the chicken no bbq. DO BETTER!

The BBQ. Was so hard I couldn't eat it. The bun was also hard. The French fries were cold, but the hushpuppies were very good.

Well, yesterday was my first visit to this restaurant and I was TOTALLY pleased! First, I was greated as soon as I entered the restaurant and I appreciated that. Jasper, who has been an employee of this restaurant for over 15 years was SO pleasant, funny charming and extremely helpful! Everything that I ordered was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! The chicken and pastry was simply delicious!! I was mad that I ordered only 1/2pint! Jasper said that I was going to want more! The pork BBQ is awesome and the fried chicken and baked chicken was amazing! The sides, greens and sweet potatoes were the yummiest. I will definitely be back there again! Thank you Jasper for your amazing customer service!

I've visited this location twice! Most recently on this past Tues. While the food is pretty good it was Extremely hot (both times)!! The most recent time I asked an employee if the air was broke? She stated it felt that way, but it was on! It is ridiculous that customers, but better yet employees have to bear these conditions! Please, fix your A/C!!!!!!

My husband and I called around 9 prior to coming and to try to call in our order before we came since we knew it was an hour before closing. We were told to just come on. We get there and she tells us “we are out of chicken, sorry.” I’m pretty sure they just didn’t feel like fixing any because it was 40 mins until close when we got there. Won’t be back.

This was truly a blessing to find while traveling. The food was exceptional, the staff were very efficient and friendly. The restaurant was clean and very busy. My only regret is that we don't have one in Maryland!

Let me start off by saying "maybe I just expect to much". With that being said; cape fear chicken and BBQ needs to improve in some areas in my opinion. I ordered an almost $12 shrimp plate. Here's what i received ... About 25-30 thumb nail size shrimp, (some of the smallest shrimp I've seen), about 12-15 French fries, four fork fills of coleslaw and about 8 hush puppies. Disappointed to say the least.
