I went there around lunch time, and it was busy, but not overly crowded. The staff was very friendly, and did their best to move quickly. They mentioned being short staffed which is a good heads up if you have to wait longer than normal times to receive your food. I ordered chicken Hibachi. It was made fresh to order and was so delicious! The portions are adequate and come with your choice of Miso or Onion soup. The decor and atmosphere was also very nice. They did a great job with the limited space they have. I will definitely be returning.

Great sushi, great atmosphere, great music, and nice interior design going on. Definitely an unexpected surprised.
Can't give it 5 stars simply because it was packed and I never received the main dish. The waitress actually asked me did I want to cancel my ordered. Hated to do so as the rest of the food was great but had to leave to catch a show.
However we did receive all other items and they were great. Guess my spicy miso and pork belly ramen was just going to take too long to make.

Came on a date-night with the husband about a week ago and had a really pleasant experience. We tried to order the calamari and something else as an appetizer but were told that they were out due to their delivery not coming in on time. So instead, we ordered the shrimp tempura (delicious) and the gyoza (also delicious). For our entrees, we ordered two sushi rolls each (Hurricane, Black Dragon, Corona, & Phoenix Rolls) and they were all so good! I also got a bowl of the clear soup which was unique (which I love) and it was very enjoyable.
We intend to visit again soon and try the hibachi!

We had dinner at Nona’s Sushi. I ordered the vegetable hibachi & noticed the chopped zucchini & mushrooms were less (I was counting the veggies while eating them, maybe 8 julienne chopped zucchini & 7 tiny chopped mushrooms) than before, and more onions in the serving plate. They shouldn’t cut the portion of the vegetable hibachi! Knowing, the prices went up but vegetables are inexpensive. I don’t eat much meat because it is hard for me to digest. I can’t eat a lot of onions either. It will hurts me later after eating too much of it. The flavors of soy sauce/oyster sauce was all over stir fried veggies & rice & with the dark sauce to dipped in, the white sauce on the other hand - definitely does not blend with stir fried veggies hibachi. The volcano rolls were a bit spicy, other than that every thing were okay.

Took my wife there for her birthday and we got the ribeye & lobster tail, hurricane and spicy eel sushi rolls. It was amazing really and we will return very soon. Go and try this place

They had a great sushi menu , If you're going on a sushi date. The Soup Was Terrible. The waitress was very nice . The sushi fills you up so order light if you want to experience more or their menu. I would highly recommend.

Best sushi in Fayetteville hands down! We have been going there since they opened and we are there a lot and have never had a bad experience. We are from Orlando where there are tons of options for sushi and great service, unfortunately it is very rare to find good service to accompany good food here in Fay but you have the best of both world here at Nona Sushi. The decor reminds us of sushi places in Orlando/Miami area and the food, no matter if it’s sushi, hibachi (or my new personal favorite: the Ramen soup!) is always top notch! Prices are fair and portions are great. If you love sushi (real sushi, not the stuff from a grocery store �) then look no further, you will not be disappointed! It is definitely a hidden gem in Fayetteville NC! Chef Jojo and the whole staff there ROCK!

Food is excellent. Service is top notch. Ambiance is perfect. And prices are reasonable. A new favorite of my entire family’s. My kids (14, 11, and 8) all enjoyed their meals. Which is saying a lot when they all have such different tastes in food! Highly recommend!!! 😁

Nona Sushi for my Birthday!!!!! Holy Mary. This is the reason Jesus was a fisherman! These tasty morsels were truly blessed by the angels! The surf & turf was amazing but the Yum-Yum... was orgasmic!!! I mean literally in your mouth oh mmm geee orgasmic!!! honestly it was the best thing I have ever put in my mouth!!! Writing this description my mouth is watering I look like I'm drooling that how awesonetastic the food was! Nona Sushi my now number one spot for sushi, plus the ambience is out of this world!! Like nothing else in Fayetteville!!! THIS would make an amazing adult date night spot!!!

One of my peers recomended Nona’s to me last month so I decided to try it out for lunch. Service was very good and the food is even better. By far the best sushi establishment in Fayetteville. Only place I go for quality sushi.

Sushi was okay. There was hair right on top of our spring rolls. The ice water with lemon was the best part of the meal.
Also, the restaurant is nice. I really enjoyed the decore.

Hands down one of the top sushi choices of Fayetteville. I've gone here for lunch with friends, I've joined a large party of 15 for dinner, and I've had large take out orders. Regardless of the size of our order or party, they have always accommodated our group and orders with efficiency and terrific service! The sushi is amazingly fresh, and the spicy salmon maki roll is amazing.

We went for the first time last week with some friends and we loved it! From the outside it looked like your typical sushi place. Once you step inside you can definitely see that isn't the case. It is gorgeous! The decor and lighting offer a beautiful ambiance. The sushi was amazing! Full of flavor and generous portions. The chef understands flavors and everything we had was incredible. My ONLY suggestion would be on the Nona's Special (I think?), lighter spicy mayo sauce on top. Other than that, no issues at all. We will be back for sure!!!
