Was not real easy to find. However was worth the trip. A very nice level hike around the lake was great for a couple short hikers. Nice bathrooms and plenty of parking and the park staff are clearly doing there job with keeping the trails cleared and clean. The service comment is for the golf course restaurant, not well marked for directions but is located at the top of the hill. great service and the staff treat you like they really are pleased you are there.

It’s a beautiful well maintained natural wonder !! Love everything about the place from the natural beauty of the cyan waters and white reefs ( makes you feel like you are transported to the Caribbean in a second ) , the amazing park facility with options for swimming with lifeguards on site , banquet hall, clean restroom , study areas as well as the well maintained flat trails around the lakes … since we found about the place in July we have been there 3 times since .. will be going back for sure !!!

Beautiful NY State Park with incredibly clear lakes. We came specifically to kayak and had a really nice time. The prices for rentals were reasonable - we paid $10 an hour for single person kayaks and paddled around the whole lake. You are not allowed to bring in your own kayaks; to keep lake from any outside contaminants that might come in on personal watercraft. We had been to Green Lakes before to hike but really enjoyed our time on the water. It was very relaxing and the water is amazingly clear. Highly recommend as a place to visit and if the weather cooperates - try kayaking!

A surprisingly beautiful state park right next to Syracuse. The water is crystal clear and turquoise green. Very beautiful walk along the two lakes. Make sure you go to the second lake, it is the prettier one (even though smaller). This park (while seems to be well-known by the locals) is a true hidden gem for those from outside Syracuse.

The green Lake is such a pretty serene place to spend a summer evening! The lake is actually green in color and so clear. There is a boat house that offers kayak, crystal boat and row boat rides but we went there on a weekend and it had been booked to capacity for the day. The trail around the lake is great to walk in and we completed half of it. There is a small cafe that sells pizza and some snacks right beside the lake as well. The best part of this state park is the beach where you can swim. There are lifeguards on duty and there is even a place to dive into the lake. It was so much fun and we easily spent an hour swimming. It gets less crowded by evening and it felt like we had the beach to ourselves! Loved this lake.. there is also a beautiful falls, Chittenango about 15 minutes away!

One of the most beautiful places I ever seen in my life! The water is beautiful and crystal clear just like the photos. Perfect place to bring your family. There is also a swimming section, kids park, hiking trail , food for sell and multiple grill stations and great parking space. I came with a regular size SUV and only payed $10 for the entire day.

I visited Green Lakes for the first time in over 20 years. It was just as beautiful as I remembered it to be! The water is so clear and stunningly turquoise! The trails are very well maintained. The clear bottom boats are a great addition. It was absolutely paced with people, but it didn't feel crowded. Everyone seemed pleasant and respectful. If I had one criticism, I would recommend only using the restrooms up by Round Lake as a last resort. On a hot summer day it is not a pleasant experience! I loved the addition of the placards explaining how unique the nature of the lake is. It was also clearly a great place to bring your dogs! There were many dogs along the way. This is an absolute must for all outdoor enthusiasts!

My family and I camp here every year. Beach is very nice and clean. There is great hiking walking biking paths and trails. Camp sites have a pretty good amount of room between the site next to one another. Bathrooms and shower are pretty good for a state facility. Nice playground and volleyball court.

I didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't speak about that experience yet. But everything was just beautiful and so well maintained. It looks so much better than it did a couple of years ago. Also, the lifeguards genuinely cared when my friend started having a seizure. They really did an incredible job caring for her and getting her the help she needed. Plus, the kayaking looked cool, and I absolutely plan on doing that next time. The trails are beautiful and were such a nice walk. Fishing was really enjoyable, there were grills and picnic tables so I and my group I was in were able to enjoy plenty of food. Overall, the lake looks so beautiful, and it's such a nice place, especially to take younger kids. Incredible experience.

The high ratings are not for nothing! It is a wonderful park. The trail is easy and provides a beautiful view all around the water. Visitor center provided some interesting information about wildlife found at the park. Beach is a great spot to take a picnic and relax for the afternoon. Plenty of parking and all areas we visited were easily accessible. No complaints on my end!
