Great tacos, awesome cappuccino! Service was outstanding! Jorge was behind the bar.. singing and serving and cleaning doing a fantastic job! Highly recommend this family oriented business!
Cash only in 2023???? From reading every bad review it’s pretty much the only thing people don’t appreciate. The best food. The best service. Everyone is cool. Everyone is kind. Everyone is helpful. Did I mention the best chicken in the world. They have authentic Portuguese food. They have every culture coming here. They even have an amazing bar and drinks. Best coffee. It’s like a weed store, cash olnly. (They don’t have cannabis)
Excellent food excellent service. It was my first time in the restaurant. I will definitely come back. I sit in the bar because it was just myself and Jorge The bartender was amazing. Super friendly, explain to me the whole entire menu and recommended the salmon It was absolutely delicious.

Cash only. Cheap Cocktails; for example, the Caipirinha is about $7, but it is potent. The alcohol is definitely not watered down. They serve food here that most other restaurants on Long Island don’t. For example, Giant Shrimp, Grilled Sardines, Cozido (Portuguese Stew made with blood sausage, pork belly, pigs ears, cabbage, potatoes, carrots and more). Spanish, Portuguese and English are primarily spoken.

The waitstaff here is very attentive and the food came out pretty quickly.
The red snapper was delicious and fried perfectly. The steak I ordered is one of those “cook it yourself” deals (other steaks they will cook for you). The cut they provided was delicious tho.
We got an order of beans, rice and salad. I was surprised to see that the sides are done family style, so definitely don’t over order!
Pricing was incredible. The red snapper was only $17!!

Place was crowded with regulars having a good time at their favorite restaurant... Got whole chicken, fries and grilled cactus to go.. Everything was great and the fries made it home in great shape
Amazing food at great prices. Fast and friendly service. Probably some of the best chicken I’ve had in a long time.

I love this place, the food is delicious, I have never had a complaint about this place!
Food was good but not the best. Ordered fried snapper that had a strong fresh fish odor, not my cup of tea. Chicken with rice was a better hit. Atmosphere is a little drab with service people that serve you as they eat themselves.
This is my favorite restaurant! They have great food! Everything is cooked here nothing seems to be just microwaved! The cooks are the best and the horchata here is delicious as well !
