Nardelli's Grinder Shoppe

LOVED IT! service was fast and food is excellent. I had a 6" meatball parm grinder/sub. The meatballs are excellent and the sauce was also very good. I went back for a slice of cheesecake from there desert case and it too was excellent. For a sandwich shop, the for is excellent , service is fast and the prices are great for the taste and quality. I'll be going here frequently. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was good and id like to give more stars but... I asked for an itemized receipt. The nice young lady helping me had trouble getting it for me and asked another female employee for help. Apparently it was just too much for that other employee as she was pretty rude to both of us. I liked the food and want to return, but hope that snippy female isn't working that day. 😕

I've been going to Nardellis since I was a kid (in Waterbury). When I moved to Unionville, this was the closest location to me. Been coming here since fall of 2020. Food tastes just as good as some of the original Nardellis locations. Seating inside is kinda weird with a long narrow hallway you can sit in, but then you squeeze by for the bathroom or to go outside. They never have "specials" like the other locations have. In the last 2 to 3 visits, the customer service has been lackluster. One employee had no idea how to make change, sandwich order slightly incorrect & the soda machine was out of ice and the drinks were room temperature. This place STAYS packed at lunch time Mon - Fri.

Summary: A great grinder shop serving both hot and cold sandwiches. The options are plentiful and the ingredients are always fresh. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The Italian combo is superb and always reliable. Some inconsistencies in the quality of other grinders such as the chicken cutlet grinder were noted. Consistency will bring this shop to the next level. Must Try: Italian combo grinder. Avoid: Chicken cutlet grinder. ⭐⭐⭐ - Good, worth a visit
